  1. Which one are you looking for?
  2. I like them in the middle and near bottom of the water column, with a slowish retrieve with pauses. Usually on 6 and 8lb test to let them wobble.
  3. Surprised to see so many people saying t-rigged worms. Maybe you were using too heavy of a bullet weight?
  4. Same model in the GLX-852c JWR. It has a softish tip that can deal with the lower weight ranges depending on the reel and line. The IMX-Pro 852 has a slightly stiffer tip section. Both are killer.
  5. Is the 702 rod you had the Champion Extreme? Is that the rod you said is very similar to the ML Feather?
  6. Do you have the Champ Extreme 702 ML casting rod?
  7. I'm looking for a casting rod for small 1/8-1/4oz t rigs/jig, 3/32-1/8oz Neds, Fluke Jr, 1/8 Oakashira screwhead, 1/8oz jig/grub baits. I have a ML Phenix Feather that's great, but I'm wanting something a little stiffer. I'll be putting an Alpas Air TW on it. I can't find one locally to check out. I tried a Cashion ML bfs rod, but it has too slow of a tip for me.
  8. For under 1/2oz I'd get either a GLX 853 JWR or a GLX 843 MBR.
  9. I use a GLX 843 MBR with a superline hook 3/0 and 30lb braid to 15lb leader. Sometimes an IMX-Pro 852C JWR if there's less cover/clear water, 20lb braid to a 12lb leader. I like it more than the GLX version 852 because it's slightly stiffer.
  10. On the site it's the only one stated as being made with TPE. Not sure if all of them are.
  11. It seems only the Ned bait is made from the Elaztech material
  12. Z-Man BatwingZ are great jig trailers
  13. I would use GLoomis 852c JWR IMX-Pro for all of that except the 3/8 spinnerbait. 1/4oz would be fine, also a 1/4 minimax chatterbait is great on there.
  14. War Eagle-all styles BooYah Counter Strike
  15. I have a Phenix ML rod, and I’m looking for something with a little more stiffness. Anyone have both to compare the power of each? thx
  16. These are great baits! I used to use a ton, but for some reason I haven't for a while. Going to start again. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapala_X-Rap_Sub_Walk/descpage-RSW.html
  17. Lots of people on here will TELL you up and down that using braid to leader is bad, over and over. Trying to shame and bully people into not using a leader. While people like us who prefer to use a leader have to get preached to. Us leader users happily keep fishing and not having issues and having fun. That’s because we don’t have the need / want to shame anyone into fishing a certain type of way. Leader users live on a higher plain of existence, and happily prefer to have everyone fish the way they like. Heehee
  18. All you people who can’t catch a chatterbait bass, try a minimax!
  19. The 150 is slightly bigger reel than a standard Tatula sv TW, not as good for walking the dog or skipping. I’d get the standard Tatula instead.
  20. I have two Alphas SV 800's that are incredible reels. You see any difference in the way the Tat 70 feels/fishes to the Alphas?
  21. I disagree 100% on this. Salt water guys do this as a standard to cast far and deal with big fish. I do it all the time in freshwater too, for the same reason.
  22. I recently put an Alphas Air TW on my Phenix Feather L and ML rods. I’m easily casting 75’ + with a true 1/8oz lure without trying very hard. It’s my favorite bfs reel now. Smooooooth!
  23. ALL of my jig fishing is done with braid to FC leaders. I use 12-20lb leaders depending on cover, water clarity, rate of fall I want, and the type of jig I'm using. It works great, and I've been doing it for years.
  24. Alphas 800 SV tw Not compact but I love the Zillion SV tw. Very comfy Met MGL CORE 50/Aldebaran 50 MG7
