  1. My JDM Met's have brass gears
  2. Black and blue And white always works too
  3. I like the Loomis 852c JWR for 6”. it’s a great all around rod for 1/8-3/8 baits.
  4. I have the Victory version of this rod, and it's a fantastic rod. I use it for chatterbaits, whopper ploppers, and 5/8oz wake baits. It can also be good for bigger square bills too. Great easy to fish rod.
  5. Swim jig rod- G Loomis 844 MBR. don’t mess with glass, or even moderate fast rods, fast or extra fast are best for me. You need to have a strong hook set.
  6. I have the same issue the last 6 months on every browser on my laptop. My phone is fine.
  7. Loomis 843c MBR in whichever line you can afford.
  8. I fish deep very clear lakes, getting smallies down to 25’. 1/4oz bitsy flip and a small chunk or a Jewel baits finesse jig in 5/16 size for the deepest water.
  9. I’ve had success in both scenarios
  10. Zoom Ole Monster, Jelly worm 8", and Culprit 7" are my favorite t rig worms. Not in any order, just depending on the situation.
  11. I’ve had 6 Tatula sv 103, and two ct type R. Never had even a little issue with any.
  12. I use it all the time for leaders. 6,12,14,17. Never had an issue. Ties knots great, and has the right amount of stretch.
  13. Last week I caught a 7+ lmb, 22” smb probably around 5, 19” lmb, and multiple 18” smb. Love ‘em.
  14. You don't see how putting a cover on something will protect it? Guides and blanks are fragile, and not meant to be banged around, covering them will protect them. Also just the fact that they prevent tangles is worth it in my book.
  15. 100% yes. I seal every cork handle I have. Before I started after two years you will start to see the cork degrade if you fish as much as I do in very hot weather and in the rain.
  16. I like the Daiwa Tatula 7'1" ML rod for them.
  17. Thanks! I just found it on Tackle warehouse too.
  18. I thought so too, but it's a different shape and doesn't have the molded in front legs
  19. Smashed them today on this frog I had in my box, it was found in a nearby lake years ago. Anyone know what it is? There was something tied around the nose area as you can see in the photo.
  20. He's looking for a t rigged weightless stick worm hook.
  21. Great rod, but I have much better success using braid to a leader w flukes.
  22. That’s your answer. If you have a Tatula sv tw, you don’t need a shallow spool, they skip great already. If you don’t have a Tat with the sv spool, I’d get one instead of buying an after market spool. IMO you’re better off putting the money towards the right reel.
  23. What's the fun in using something that's just serviceable. A top end reel would probably be lighter, cast farther, cast more easily, be smoother, and have a smoother drag. But you are happy with mid priced reels, so good on you for that.
  24. GLX gets my vote. That sucker is so light and sensitive
