Plastic worms have been the most consistent fish catcher for me, especially in hot weather.                                         Here's my own selection for 2023.                                          Mr. Twister Phenom 6".           Roboworm 41/2 and 6".           Mann's Jelly Worm 8".              Brewers Slider. 4".                     Zoom Trick worm 6"                Zoom finesse worm 4".          Culprit 71/2 and 10".              This group covers the bases where I fish. I use t rig and sometimes Shakey head. For colors, it's purple, grape, motor oil, and solid black.                                                What plastic worms are in your lineup this summer?

If I ever get a chance to get back out  Jelly worms 6"and  8", plus Yum Dingers. Texas rigged Dingers with a 5/16th oz weight has become my go to worm the past couple of years because of the ease of pitching and they get bit.

Throw in some roboworms and strike king fat baby finesse worms when I need to.

Number one by far this year is Zoom Mag Trick worm, Junebug, or Watermelon candy.

I don't use worms as often as I should, but when I do the worms are big, and so are the bass.

Zoom Ole Monster, Jelly worm 8", and Culprit 7" are my favorite t rig worms. Not in any order, just depending on the situation.

Rage Tail Lobster Lake Fork Craw

One of my favorite baits to throw in the dead of summer is a big old Culprit 10” ribbon tail. Z-Man Finesse WormZ get a lot of use as well on a drop shot or shaky head for me. Those two are my most used plastic worm. 

What’s with all of the craw baits being mentioned? Them ain’t worms!?

I consider anything with a slim pencil body a worm.

 

The craw worm been around forever and to me is more a worm variation than a craw variation.  YMMV

I love the RoboWorm. Straights, Fats and Curly tails. Throw a lot of Berkley worms also. Been fishing the Dry Creek worms quite a bit also. 
 

Over the years there has been many worms that work out well but the get phased out. Never thought I’d see Yamamoto drop the Kut tail. 

Yamamoto might have been bought out and might be restructuring the products.

The past couple of seasons a few Yamamoto plastics have been hard for me to find to restock. Not bone dry but getting close to being out. It will come together. Thanks for being up with the news.

Once spawn has come to an end, nothing beats a worm.

The water here is very clear so prefer something finesse.

Drop-shot robo worms, Jackall flickShake, zoom finesse mojo and really wouldn't need to throw anything else.
