  1. To each their own. For me the Zillion is better. Different hands/grip
  2. These Zillions rip! All of mine are just as smooth as when I first got them. They are my main reels now, and my favorite all time reel so far. Congratulations. Also my favorite reel on the GLX reel seat. Super comfortable .
  3. Don't know if this is the exact same Honey B, but they still make them. ALL small crank baits catch fish. They are great baits. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=30&searchtext=honey+b
  4. In your range it will be perfect. It’s a really great rod. Small jigs 1/8-1/4, light t rigs, weightless worms, poppers, minnow baits….what ever you want in the weight range. It’s not overly stiff. It’s a perfect medium spinning rod.
  5. Knots don’t damage guides. Tons of people fish braid to FC/mono leaders, including me.
  6. Great reel to match up. I’d also recommend the Zillion sv TW. I use both with 30lb braid to 15-20lb fc leader.
  7. I prefer the Plopper
  8. I don't like the taper on the LMH
  9. I don't think it's changed much over the years. Been using it forever, and never have any issues with it. I also love 832. Both great lines.
  10. Not sure what kind of working people this refers to. Corporate people maybe, but not working people. Tell me what working class jobs have doubled or tripled?
  11. G Loomis 843 or 844 MBR depending on how heavy the cover is and the weight size
  12. Victory line of rods use Concept Fuji O ring guides and Fuji KDPS and VSS and they don't fall apart.
  13. 20lb is ok on casting gear. Have you checked your line guide on your reel?
  14. Not a combo, but a rod. the old St Croix Legend Bass casting rod I had. Any reel I put on it, it was so tip heavy my wrist would hurt after two hours of fishing. I sold it after three time out, couldn’t deal with it.
  15. I only use swimbaits on swimjigs. cut the skirt short enough to let the tail “swim” Swammer x-zone D-Walker River2sea are both great active trailers that will move your swimjig. Try them
  16. I regularly use 10” worms in Illinois and Michigan
  17. Get ready for a bunch of people telling you they don't catch fish!
  18. I don’t think it matters that much. Near center is close enough. Try it, see what happens
  19. How do you decide which lake/where to start in Braidwood?
  20. I'd get a Tatula 150. They are great reels, and right in all of you wants/needs
