Wow. I love my Kistler's. Like I said, I have 4 of them. But I need to find out who is running their site. If Trey said that (I'd be shocked) I will never buy another Kistler again.

I don't like that they raised the price $50 this year. Not at all. But I have 4 Kistlers (Helium, 2 Feel N Reels, KLX), and I really, really like them. I got them all before these new ones came out, and they were all on sale for a really good price. And it said that on their site?? Are you talking about someone's review? I never saw that.

There was a lot of talk a few months back about Kistler going away from North Fork Composites. Thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case.

Anybody using these? Thoughts??

100 is all I use. Started using them last year and I am more than happy with them. Also durable as all get-out. Gives the swimjig and nice little side to side roll.

If I HAD to pick one (thankfully I don't)...this guy. The D-Walker (4").

Hey Mike, are you going to be adding this color on your site for all the other jigs as well?

Considering the Jackhammer in Fire Craw color seems to be the hot thing right now, and is always sold out online, this is a veeeery smart decision, for sure! Especially for spring fishing.

Ok I'll give these a shot. I read a few reviews/saw video where guys say they upgrade to a larger size but didn't give any more details.

Anybody fish this bait? I have a few which I've yet to fish. The hooks on them are on the smaller side, and was thinking about up-sizing a tad but was wonder what size/hooks other are using. I think they come stock with size 6 hooks. Thanks.

There's so many companies that put out great product.I don't like pigeon-holing myself by being brand loyal. Now what it comes to reels, I'm pretty much Shimano, Daiwa and Lews. With a few Pfluegers and an Abu thrown in.

Appreciate it. That's what I figured as well but wasn't sure how soft Lew's mod-fast was. I'll pass this along. How do you like those rods?

So my buddy is looking at a specific rod but has a question. He's not on here so I figured I'd ask for him. He's looking at the Lew's TP-1 Black casting rod. The 7' medium/mod-fast version. Question is, how fast are Lew's rods? I have a deep cranking stick but that's it. Is their mod-fast really soft or is it closer to, I don't know, Dobyns version of a fast tip? He wants it for squarebills and smaller Keitechs as well as being able to throw finesse jigs like a Bitsy Bug.I told him a 7' med-heavy/fast may be better. But he's hung up on the medium for some reason. Thanks
