  1. WOW! I can't believe I listened to the whole thing. I've got way to much time on my hands.
  2. My son holds two tournaments a year at the church he goes to. He has done a good job at getting sponsors, the first tournament they had only about 15 boats. But they had about 45 to 50 participants. Man that was cool, some of the guys would have their whole family in the boat. ;D They still couldn't have but five fish. He had enough prizes to draw every ones name out twice. I just thought it was great to see them do that, all of them even the winner donated all the money to the church's youth program.
  3. He was whispering in the Bulls ear that the guy that was fixing to ride him talked ugly about his mama.
  4. Dear Sir: I am writing in response to your request for additional information in Block 3 of the accident report form. I put "poor planning" as the cause of my accident. You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the following details will be sufficient. I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working alone on the roof of a new six-story building. When I completed my work, I found that I had some bricks left over which, when weighed later, were found to be slightly in excess of 500 lbs. Rather than carry the bricks down by hand, I decided to lower them in a barrel by using a pulley, which was attached to the side of the building on the sixth floor. Securing the rope at ground level, I went up to the roof, swung the barrel out and loaded the bricks into it. Then I went down and untied the rope, holding it tightly to ensure a slow descent of the bricks. You will note in Block 11 of the accident report form that I weigh 175 lbs. Due to my surprise at being jerked off the ground so suddenly, I lost my presence of mind and forgot to let go of the rope. Needless to say, I proceeded at a rapid rate up the side of the building. In the vicinity of the third f floor, I met the barrel which was now proceeding downward at an equally impressive speed. This explained the fractured skull, minor abrasions and the broken collar bone as listed in section 3 of the accident report form. Slowed only slightly, I continued my rapid ascent, not stopping until the fingers of my right hand were two knuckles deep into the pulley. Fortunately by this time I had regained my presence of mind and was able to hold tightly to the rope in spite of beginning to experience a great deal of pain. At approximately the same time, however, the barrel of bricks hit the ground and the bottom fell out of the barrel. Now devoid of the weight of the bricks, the barrel weighed approximately 50 lbs. I refer you again to my weight. As you can imagine, I began a rapid descent, down the side of the building. In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming up. This accounts for the two fractured ankles, broken tooth and several lacerations of my legs and lower body. Here my luck began to change slightly. The encounter with the barrel seemed to slow me enough to lessen my injuries when I fell into the pile of bricks and fortunately only three vertebrae were cracked. I am sorry to report, however, as I lay there on the pile of bricks, in pain, unable to move, I again lost my composure and presence of mind and let go of the rope and I lay there watching the empty barrel begin its journey back down onto me. This explains the two broken legs. I hope this answers your inquiry. Howard Shaw

Solution to Save Gasoline The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down..... Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the Border.... When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq ... Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military..... Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it..... After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country...... He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot...... This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves...... If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo..... Problem solved..... 8-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The best games are on Xbox 360. 8. I have tried everything to get one to post with no luck. When I get an e-mail with an attachment, I will save it to my documents. When I try to post it in the box all I get in the square where it says cut, copy, paste, delete, the delete is the only one highlighted. How about I send someone the e-mail and you post it and then you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. :-/

NO, I don't believe it The REAL LBH would never be a forum NAZI It must have been some kind of evil clone. dude say it ain't so. Has this message board gotten so heavy handed that a silly joke is seen as a threat to some perceived notion of wholesome family values. Seriously dude. I'm not expecting any mea culpa's. becuase I learned long ago that most people, including very cool ones, would rather argue for their right to be wrong, than admit a mistake. but dude, really...........locking that post was out of line. Suggestion: Since the "everything else forum seems to cause so much controversy, why not just eliminate it? During the winter, I find myself looking at this "Everything Else" area more than the others. What would I do with my day if it were gone? LOL : During the winter. . . dude, my day wouldn't be complete without a visit to the "Everything Else" section. Just talking about taking it away saddens me greatly. I can live with a little supervision from these fine moderators. . . they do a great job. I am NOT a suck-up, Muddy!! [/quote Reply Muddy! ;D

  18. I just go to the river or lake. This gives me some idea how much rain fall we have. When they are low, we need rain and when they are high we have enough. I think we are like 9+ inches below normal in NC. I think the earth has rotated the wrong way or something, because all the water just runs out of the Tar River. I can remember when the river use to stay 8 10' all the time. I think it is about time for the Corps to come in and find out whats going on.
  19. I was just joking about my rebate, I don't never get one anyway. :-/
