Prop Question
Simply put .... No. The 3 blade will be a slightly faster prop. The 4 blade however has other qualities that in some cases outweigh speed. Typically they will have a better hole shot and more lift. Also less prone to blowout in rough water. I run a 4 blade on my Ranger most all of the time ... here on Kentucky Lake we see our fair share of rough water.

Prop Selection + motor height
Sounds like .... if you are at 3.5 inches that you need more pitch .... 1 inch pitch should drop you about 300 rpm ..... consider sending your prop to Marks High Performance props ..... tell him what the numbers are now and what you want to get to. He will balance and blueprint your prop .... repair any imperfections and tweak the prop to your wishes .... it will be the finest running prop you will ever have. Many people send new props for a Balance and blueprint. He can work majic !!!

2 racks of Baby Backs !!!- New Smoker/Grill
Glenn ... we have been exposed to a Big Green Egg through some friends of ours .... it is an amazing piece of equipment. You would absolutely love one. As for the meal .... I lit the Egg and brought it to about 400 degrees .... took about the same amout of time it takes to get our gas grill to that temp and we have a very good gasser. I put the potatoes on .... when the potatoes had about 10 minutes left, I opened up the vents on the Egg and in less than 5 minutes, it was up to 650 degrees!! I seared the steaks for 3 minutes each side and closed down the vents completely on the Egg and just let the steaks sit for about 4 more minutes as the Egg began to cool down. Th steaks were the most flavorful and by far the most juicy I have ever cooked. There is a forum eggheadforum.com that will give you an idea what people are doing with them from a user standpoint instead of advertising. Tomorrow, we are slow smoking 2 racks of baby back ribs !!!- New Smoker/Grill
Well come on then !!!- I did a bad, bad, bad thing...
