  2. That was about the only way I figured you could do it. You might want to put something on the bottom of the plywood (to keep it from slipping) until you decide to make it permanent or not... skillet

  5. Even standing part time doesn't help some days . IMHO the way you have to hold your arms is as bad as the sitting. Never fished out of one of those (so don't know about the standing). How were you gonna attach it? skillet

  10. I was fishing an oxbow lake (Horseshoe) in Ark. a number of years ago. A bad storm was blowing in and I hung around too long. I was throwing a spinner bait and the line was rising instead of falling . Didn't know what was going on but decided it was time to leave . Even before I could get everything ready to go (was in a real hurry to), lightning blew the top off a bald cypress off, not 75 yards away. *** pinched a doughnut hole in my jeans! All joking aside, have NEVER hung around when a storm is coming since... skillet
  11. Bought one (Ranger in Memphis) not too long ago for my boat. They had several to fit different patterns. Same co. made them all (forget name). It was the same brand that came on the boat in '84 ... skillet

  15. Really nice looking fish, T-rig. As said earlier, GREAT looking shoreline. The last fish, you said that size was rare. It does seem longer and maybe thinner but some of those footballs you catch would have to be pushing that... skillet

  21. I was about 10 or 11 on a vacation with my family at Lake Norfork. It was maybe 3/4 lb. bass on my first baitcaster and a red and white Daredevil. Never thought I'd hear the same thing from other folks ... skillet

  23. If using a bait caster, MAKE SURE of the room you've got to cast in. I have had "professional overruns" that came out of the reel and engulfed my whole hand :-[ :-[, when the bait hung on piece of weed or small branch... skillet
  24. If not mistaken :-/what KK is talking about would be dropshot rig with jig and trailer or weighted worm at bottom of rig... skillet
