  1. Costco Prescription + online company to fill the prescription is what I plan to do this year.
  2. Theoretically, do you think that it is possible that a frame might deform slightly over time and use to cause the geary effect? It is starting to sound like it is the nature of these reels and that "it is what it is". The reel still cast like a dream. For those who have experienced the effect, does it worsen quickly? Anybody have any insight on how the gearyness is over time?
  3. It’s an XG. I have had it about a year or so.
  4. You can feel it regardless of load. I had a weightless fluke tied on when I noticed it. You can feel it taking in slack line.
  5. Like others have mentioned lately on other threads, my Curado 71 MGL has developed a gearyness during retrieve. Has anyone successfully cured this or is it basically part of the life cycle of these reels?
  6. If it were me, the 6’10” ML Bass X spinning rod would be my choice. 110s have light wire hooks and I slap the water with 7 footers.
  7. Are you sure it wasn’t the audible clicking drag? Personally, I like the feature.
  8. I don’t have a strong opinion about this but I will be trying the Baitfuel infused Paca Slims eventually just to see what the hubbub is all about.
  9. Has anyone who have tried this noticed an increase of bites on the pause? When I have seen this series of lures, that is what comes to mind. I envision casting it and working it once or twice followed by long pauses in the strike zone to allow the flash boost to draw them in close if not close the deal maybe.
  10. Do you think the Jet Boost does anything for the casting? Are you going to run out and buy anymore?
  11. What's the verdict?
  12. I will be the first admit that I am indicative of the idea that lures are meant to catch fisherman more than they are meant to catch fish. However, I am not feeling enticed by anything from this year's ICast so far.
  13. The Spro Dean Rojas Popping frog is pretty popular for good reason. It’s easy to walk and comes in lots of colors.
  14. I have a Tracker Heritage. I love it. However, there is a distinct possibility it is because it is the only boat I have ever owned. Also, the only other boats I have fished out of have been Jon Boats.
  15. I thought I remember Bass Resource having a tungsten sinker sponsor, but I do not see one listed where the other sponsors are. Regardless, where do people buy tungsten sinkers in bulk?
  16. Heddon Baby Lucky 13.
  17. Shower Blows in the 77 and 105 and Ima Little Stik.
  18. Everyone points out that the red coating wears off and the hooks turn gold. Any thoughts on if the gold coloring is detouring to bass? I use mostly Gammy EWG, odd size hooks in red, even size hooks in black. After two seasons, the jury is still out for me.
  19. Ima Little Stick is 135mm long. It causes quite the disturbance on the water and the rattles are loud. If the fish are active, it has given me many fun mornings.
  20. H2O has given me a lot of success. I don’t know who actually makes them, but I would like to know since Academy won’t ship to CA anymore. I like the sound they make.
  21. My big swimbait rod that I got myself for Xmas has been a fail so far, and I have about 5 lures to go with it.
  22. That's awesome. Lure recognition software.
  23. I think I will give it the next time I take a jerkbait out of the box. There is no point for the ones that are already rashed up. I don't worry about the weight. I bought one of the jewelry scales for maintaining the same weight when I switch out hooks. It will weigh about the same when I am done with it. It's not that I think it will help catch fish. Teeth marks are battle scars. Hook rash is just an eye sore.
  24. Is nail polish the easiest thing to use? I am envisioning something I could spray on a few coats after taping up the bill, hook hangers, & eyes while dangling it from a string.
  25. Please post an image of the coupons for Spam and Velveeta. Mystery meat and cheese are okay. Mystery mayo, not so much.
