  1. I use the 7’2 ml spinning as my spinning rod for jerkbaits. Has a great action for 110s, stunnas, and rogues but I wouldn’t want to throw anything larger.
  2. I would like to see professional circuits allow FFS during practice, but not during the tournament. As a fan in the stands, I’ve personally lost some enjoyment especially during smallmouth dominated events when guys are staring at their screen the whole time on air. just my two cents though.
  3. Looking to replace a few spinning reels. What are your favorite sub $200 reels in the 2500 or 3000 size? Would like to stick with daiwa or Shimano. Anyone try the new miravels?
  4. Gamma polyflex is a nice option. Pretty low stretch and manageable in the low pound tests. It does run a bit thicker than other brands, so you’d probably want 6-8 lb on a spinning reel.
  5. I fished one the other day for the first time. I was pretty impressed. Held its own, if not performed slightly better, than a vision 110 for me. The fish seemed to like the slow sink that day.
  6. Go play in the thick stuff with a 1+ oz tungsten ?

Now that it’s been out for a while, who throws the stunna 112 or 112+1? Picked up a few during the Purefishing sale. Won’t be able to fish them until spring, but they look decent. What do you like/dislike most about them? How do they stack up against some over the other tried and true jerkbaits?
  8. I haven’t tried the drift walker yet, but I love the cane walkers. For $3 during the sale that is tough to beat!
  9. Pure fishing got me for my 3rd order today ?. They’re practically giving stuff away!
  10. I have two 7’2 MH Expride A, and three 7’6 MH. The 7’6 rod is my favorite rod that I own. Like others have said, it’s on the slower side of fast, but definitely not a moderate fast action. I use it for football jigs and light flipping. The 7’2 MH is super versatile. To me it feels slightly stiffer than the 7’6 rod. I use it for pitching docks, light cover, worms, spinnerbaits, etc.
  11. Hmm I tried to buy some stunnas with it… wonder if it doesn’t work with them I tried it with 4 slibberknockers also and it didn’t work. Maybe there’s some kind of restriction by state? I’m really not sure
  12. They must have taken down the BELK50 code. Didn’t work for me just now
  13. It’s more-so the cork handle grip near the reel seat that is thicker on the enox rods (and maybe the Zolo too?). The rod blank itself isn’t any thicker than my other non-ALX rods.
  14. I owned the LSB rod. It felt maybe a tad underpowered for the 1/2 oz + trailer football jigs I was throwing on it… 3/8 seemed to be the sweet spot. I also have a bmj, strike, and decoy. My favorite is the decoy. Super versatile rod.
  15. Expride 7’6 MH is a great football jig rod.
  16. Agreed. The 894 is better for 3/8-3/4 oz jigs.
  17. A rigs for me. But man does it catch fish when it’s on.
  18. Yep, they charged me around $30. Next time I’ll go to UPS or FedEx and not have to deal with this. Lesson learned!
  19. Yes, I added insurance. So far they’ve just been a pain to deal with and it has me concerned.
  20. Recently shipped a rod to a buyer via USPS. It was a disaster from the start - rod was supposed to ship to NC and ended up in Florida. Nobody knew where it was or what happened to it. About 10 days later it arrived and the rod tube was broken in half and so was the rod inside. I refunded the buyers money and have started the process of an insurance claim. Has anyone tried this before with any luck? Worried that I will be eating the cost on this rod… not cheap.
  21. Albino, whiteback Shad, brownie are my favorites
  22. I used to own the hustler. Pros: Loads up very smoothly on fish, great taper pretty versatile blank - can throw most cranks up to 10-12 ft comfortably Cons: The blank is pretty thick due to it being a glass composite.

Does anyone here make underspins? Looking for some with a stronger gauge hook for casting gear, not a finesse hook.
  24. I’m using the Expride 7’2 MH in light to medium cover right now… laydowns, docks, light grass. Works great for 1/4-3/8. If you throw 1/2oz a lot, maybe look at the 7’2 H. Zodias line is good too for less $$$
