Replacing Ceramic Insert on G-Loomis Rod
One of the reasons we buy a G. Loomis is the confidence we have in quality components. Get you replacements direct. They usually send two for free and they are EXACTLY what came with the rod when it was built. 8-)

Muddy's New Adventure
I didn't want to hijack the other thread, so here's another version... Re: NEW REVOS AND PFLUEGERS AT TW Muddy wrote on Yesterday at 21:26:32: I aint gonna look........ :)i aint gonna look......aw %@#!*&@! I looked : Dom, you should set aside a jar for the money you would have spent on cigs and use it for one of the new Pfluegers or Abus...that is, unless you are too stuck on the round reels Grin Yea I am loving these round ABU's I spoke with ghoti, he is going to switch out my drags and upgrade the bearings for me when the hard water sets in, one more change in the wind going back to Fenwicks, What a long journey to end up where I started! __________________________ Geez... If you're going to start over, start right! You only need three rigs: Avid AVS68MXF/ Shimano Stradic CI4 Avid AVC68MXF/ Curado 200E7 Avid AVC70MM/ Curado 200E5 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

GY flappin Hog
Fish the Flappin' Hog as a jig trailer, it's THE BOMB! Combined with a 1/2 oz jig, the presentation is big and appeals to larger bass. 8-)

Best rods for tournaments
You can fish anything and everything on spinning tackle. Baitcasting gear appeals to a lot of guys and I prefer it too for a variety of techniques. You may find using the tackle is challenging at first, but chances are you will want to add some of this to your arsenal. I prefer spinning gear for finesse techniques and baitcasting tackle for "power" applications. A simple example is spinning for weightless soft plastics; baitcasting for jigs. It's really only a matter of personal preference. 8-)

Trout fishing with bass gear help?
Line visibility is a BIG issue with trout. If the water you fish generally produces stockers or just smaller fish, ultra light equipment and #4 line is my suggestion. 8-)

Spinning reel size
The 1000 is a great match for that set-up. I have one on an AVS66MLF. You will not be disappointed. 8-)

Need some expert advice on how to fish this situation.
Well, the Senko and Fat Ika are always something worth throwing in relatively shallow water. Another suggestion is running a Norman Fat Boy along the edges of some of the cover. Maybe topwater in low light: MegaStrike Cavitron Buzzbait, Rage Tail Shad, Spook, Chug Bug or Sammy. Probably need to try a spinnerbait if there is a little breeze and the jig is always a priority for me. 8-)

Yo Zuri Hybrid vs PLINE PF/CX/CXX review
So how much money did you "blow"? Neither line is expensive, the cost of the trial isn't much of a factor. I experiment with different lines all of the time. Most line is "ok". What usually stands out is bad line, not good line. Some really suck! Among those you might choose to fish, they generally have a couple of attributes that are particularly important to you. It seems to me that the issues are always some kind of compromise. :

Good price for Loomis????
