  1. Thank you, that was very nice. PM sent.
  2. Fish with friends. I fish in the back of the boat all the time and it is never a disadvantage. When you fish with friends, you fish as a team and manuever the boat for the advantage of both guys. If you have a suggestion, make it! You should both be looking for the best opportunities to get on some fish. 8-)
  3. WOW! Man, that had to be a great time for you and your partner. Congratulations! 8-)
  4. Monday night's show was great, but the two prior episodes were a little slow. I think the target market is guys that were big fans of the trilogy and we want action!, not a lot of soap. This last show was the bomb! 8-)
  5. **MODERATOR NOTE** I guess it's the weather and being couped up too long. Goodnight, Irene! This thread is closed. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator

Do you catch fish with a Senko? If you do, the Fat Ika is fished EXACTLY the same way, it simply has different action and a different profile. The Fat Ika is something most bass have never seen before. 8-)
  7. ** MODERATOR NOTE** It seems we have drifted a bit off-course overnight. Fishing bluegill and live bait can be discussed again, but this thread is done. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  8. Why does metric make sense? Is it just because you have ten fingers and ten toes? A cup is a measurement representing the amount of water one can hold in their hands. A foot is...well an average male foot. A yard is three "foots". Our mesurements have meaning. There is nothing magical about a decimal or the metric system. Atoms don't know how much they weigh and stars don't know how far they are apart. Can anyone comprehend the distance of a light year measured in miles or kilometers?
  9. I live in Tennessee. What's a bagel? :
  10. I suspect many, if not most, of the Team Depends members felt the same way when they were your age. You may be surprised how much smarter they get as you get a little older. Some of the old dogs are even learning new tricks. I know it is hard to believe, but during the Stone Age we did not have computers or MTV! It took an ice age to force us to learn how to build a fire and we could not make a Taco Bell run after drinking all night. I guess times have always been "tough". Imagine if you can, life before pizza. 8-)
  11. You're missing the dark, oversized shades! : Well, upon further review and after actually reading the rules , your picture qualifies. Nice pic! 8-)
  12. Welcome! I hope you will drop in from time to time. 8-)
  13. Man, that's a great story! ;D ;D ;D 8-)
  14. Sure! Spinning tackle: Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #6 Baitcasting gear: Ultra Soft #12 This line is very user friendly, but otherwise will have no particular impact on any lures you choose to fish. 8-)
  15. I think the St. Croix Avid AC66MF is just what the doctor ordered! I consider this an "all-around" rod for treble hook lures, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. The action allows you to manuever jerkbaits and topwater lures, but the tip is soft. 8-)
  16. Mine ain't busted, I don't think I'm goin' to fix 'em! 8-)
  17. I agree with about half of that!
  18. Welcome aboard! Well, one consideration is lost lures. I fish some soft plastics weedless and still lose most of them! I think you will find soft plastics to be very effective. I had some luck last weekend throwing a GYCB Single-Tail Grub on a 1/8 oz jig jead. Other plastics to consider are 3 1/2" tubes, Hula Grubs, lizards, Fat Ika and Senkos. The only class of hard baits I actually use is jerkbaits. Good luck! 8-)
  19. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  20. Oops! It must be magic, I hope it reappears! 8-)

    Always, weightless and weedless. 8-)
  22. Most of our smallmouth are caught drifting shiners on a split shot rig. Last weekend I caught four, including those pictured, on a Single-Tail GYCB Grub. 8-)
  23. Nope, no Texans. We kicked them all out. They catch too many big bass! : Welcome aboard! 8-)
