College Football National Signing Day
Disappointing for Mizzou fans after such a strong showing last year. I was hoping that being a contender in the SEC would lead to greater interest by the top high school candidates.

If you just want to try something "special", the GYCB Custom Gamakatsu was designed by Gary himself. It has some angle adjustment, but most importantly it is thin wire and PERFECT for small and mid-sized soft plastics.

Pinnacle Optimus Xt Baitcasting Reel
Pinnacle has invested a lot of time and money introducing the new Tournament Class Reels. If this helps, I'm a die-hard Shimano fan, but now have two XLT and a HiXS. http://www.pinnaclefishing.com/shop/s-5-Tournament-Class-Reels.aspx

Shipping A Rod
No, you can just ship the tube. Be sure that both ends a sealed securely. I put bubble wrap arounf the tip, reel seat and butt. then a little seperaely on the top and bottom. This way the rod will not bounce around.
