General Bass Fishing Questions!
Spend some time looking around the site. Pay special attention to "Fishing Articles" and "Best of BassResource". We have an extensive library for you to review.

Recommendation: $300-$400 Baitcasting Combo
Probably my favorite rig: G. Loomis GLX MBR842C/ Core 50MG

Zoom Baits!
Well, try a couple of Rage Tail products and see what you think. I don't think you will be fishing Zoom anymore.

Recommendation: $300-$400 Baitcasting Combo
I would be patient. Curado 200E7 or 50E for around $100, G. Loomis GLX MBR844C for ~$250. Our Flea Market is awesome!

Guaranteed To Catch Bass
Twist locks are great. Take a look at Moaner Hooks, too.

The Economy
Today's trading was unprecedented... Take this opportunity to sell every equity you own. Bonds and guaranteed products rule. The probability of another downturn in the world economy is significant. Risks are extremely high. As a side note: The market moved 852 DOW points in 1 hr 42 minutes yesterday. Finishing up strongly is not the whole story.

The Economy
Today was a disaster ending at the lows...Tomorrow may be worse. Capitulation will take us back to March 2009 (6547). The next time around may be catastrophic. The situation in Europe is probably key. I believe we (USA) can work our way out. However, the situation abroad will have a dramatic impact on the worldwide economy.

Starting The Next Generation
Great story & pics!

Old Hickory
I just talked with my guide today. He's killin' em with lizards on ledges. I don't know for sure whether Glenn and I will fish Percy Priest or Old Hickory, but right now the big bite is on OH.

Stock Market
Get out now... Down 4000 points on the DOW is a real possibility. I don't see any "positives" and the talk of a "bottom" seems ridiculous to me. Europe will collapse and take the rest of us with them. The USA was downgraded Friday to AA+. The near term is bleak and another worldwide recession/ depression is inevitable. God help us all!

Depressing Issue
Well...Big O just introduced Rage Tail Single Tail Grubs. You gotta get some of those! If you haven't tried GMAN jigs, you need to. NorthStar Hairy Craw and Pro series? C'mon...Got all of JJ's colors? Man, the list is long. I have been experimenting with a variety of line this year, but recently picked off a great deal on 1 lb spools of Yo-Zuri Hybrid, #6 & #12. That's a lot of line! Don't overlook our Flea Market either. We have some great deals and new offerings every day. Just be a little careful, I made the mistake of sending payment through PayPal as a "gift". Don't do that unless you know the seller pretty well.

Pickwick - Sweltering Heat And A Skunk In The Boat!
Wow! That's tough. Haven't been out in two weeks, but I was around McFarland when you were there. Numbers were good, but the size was hard to come by. We probably had +/- 15 lbs, best five. The winning total was 77 lbs for four days: http://anglerschannel.com/content/mark-rose-wins-flw-pickwick
