  1. If I don’t have to break through ice, I’ll go fishing.
  2. Kistler helium 3 is on sale now 21 percent off .Should be at the top of your price range. I have that and a Loomis e6x. The kistler is way better than the e6x. Night and day difference.
  3. Bass Pro has a better deal on the Elite 7ti . You get the totalscan transducer and Navionics for 499.
  4. Chronarch MGL is definitely not just for finesse/light lures. I have one on my Helium 3 and it makes a good match.
  5. I sit and stand while fishing. I put my old trolling motor on the transom when I bought my new one, it acts as a rudder and as a backup. I’ve had the Bigfoot switch fail twice while on the water in the past 3 years but they’re only $20. It’s a good idea to keep a small collapsible paddle in your boat in case the switch does go bad (or your battery dies).
  6. I have an Endura Max on the front of my Pond Prowler, use a Bigfoot switch and use my foot to move the motor handle. The Bigfoot switch makes a world of difference.Takes some practice but it works.
  7. All Pointers are made in Japan. Not sure what you mean by non-Japan. Are both jerkbaits that you're pricing made by Lucky Craft?
  8. I bought the 6 pack with the free black shirt. Kind of disappointed that half of them were 1/4 ounce but still a good deal.
  9. I have both and I prefer the Mojo. The E6X is way overpriced for what it is.
  10. I've had a lot of luck with the Spro little john but I ordered some 6th Sense x75 to try out because TW had them on sale for $5.99 during there Christmas sale. Too soon to tell if they're as good as the Little John's.
  11. If I'm bank fishing a small pond I try to blend in and go into stealth mode. In my boat I'd rather be seen that way I dont get run over.
  12. Texas rigs, jigs,lipless cranks,flat sided cranks,spinnerbaits.
  13. Flat sided crankbaits have a tighter action that will sometimes cause a strike in cold or pressured lakes. I like to hop a lipless crankbait off the bottom in cold water, can't do that with a flat side because it will slowly rise up. Both are my most productive reaction baits and I always have one of each tied on. Most days I throw both and let the bass tell me what they want.
  14. My top lures for spring are a lipless crankbait and a flat sided crankbait like the SPRO Little John.
  15. I have both. The handle is a lot nicer on the MGL. It is also smoother than my Ci4 but it is a lot newer. You can save about 40 to 50 dollars is you order a Mgl from Japan.
  16. I’ve had a Bigfoot switch on my Pond Prowler the past 3 years and I can easily say it’s the best thing I’ve added to it, I can’t imagine fishing without it. The bad thing is they only last about a year if that long. I just bought my third replacement one last week.
  17. Are these sale prices going to be available online or is it in store only.
  18. I caught some bass on a trap doing this the other day. Let the trap sit on the bottom for a couple of seconds, then raise the rod tip about a foot or so. Water was 41 degrees.
  19. Gotta have some Lipless crankbaits.
  20. I have the Fury 705cb. It is good for squarebills up to medium divers but it is too whippy for deep diving cranks.
  21. What size lures do you plan on throwing? I thought Kistler made a light MH/XF rated down to 3/16 but I don’t see it on the website. Maybe they discontinued it?
  22. Managed to catch a couple of bass today hopping a lipless crankbait off the bottom. Water was 41 degrees. Here’s the biggest one.
  23. 7 inch Power worm T rigged with a 1/8 or 3/16 weight.
