  1. I've caught some big bass with my Mojo and I've never had problems at all..Any rod can break pulling a 4 pounder into the boat.
  2. Good for treble hook lures. I use a med m/f for lipless cranks and square bills. You want a fast or extra fast for trigs/jigs

That’s a great deal. I pay 25 for each one. Pro Blue is a very productive color for me.
  4. Wow. I’ve never seen the water that high. I wonder if they still had the tournament yesterday?
  5. 8 in 4 hours is a good day on Chesdin. I caught 4 bass and a pickerel Sunday. I think I might have caught the same bass your wife caught. Lol
  6. Look on EBay when they have there coupon sales. Also checkout factory outlet store.com
  7. Yes. Probably go around noon or so and fish till sundown.
  8. Got a fat belly for sure. Probably from feeding on the shad. Congrats! Nice bass
  9. It’s not too crowded after Labor Day usually.unless they’re having a tournament on a Saturday. There were only 4 other trailers sitting at Whippernock marina when I went at 1 o’clock last Sunday.
  10. Yes the schools of shad are everywhere. I agree with Sam , It is overfished and a lot of days the bite can be slow. I plan on fishing there tomorrow.
  11. I’ve been wearing Calcutta’s too. Comfortable and don’t rub my head behind my ears like a lot of cheap sunglasses do. Plus my feelings aren’t hurt when I lose a pair every 3 months.
  12. I agree. I dont think he sets up the Daiwas correctly in the casting tests either
  13. Mccoy clear fluorescent blue
  14. Water level is a little high. Wasn’t real muddy though
  15. I fished Whippernock today also. Caught 6 bass on a trap. They were all holding tight to the pads and grass today, probably why you didn’t see any on the fish finder. Sometimes you can find a bass or two by the powerlines. Good luck fishing Chesdin. Some days it’s on fire and some days it will make you question your sanity. Lol
  16. The bass were tearing the Rattle Trap up today. Here’s 2 of the biggest of the day.

I've been bass fishing for close to 30 years and i've caught more bass on a Texas rigged worm than all other lures combined
  18. The Tatula is smaller and lighter than the K. I dont have one yet but plan on ordering a couple of them.
  19. I agree. I'd get the Elite for a Daiwa reel and the Zodias if I was going to put a shimano on it.

I've tried most other brands but I always go back to the original Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap
  21. Avid would be my first choice. I’ve never handled or even seen an Elite before but I like my regular Tatula rod better than my E6X so I would assume the Elite is even better.
  22. Loomis came out with an improved version of the E6X this year, claims to be more lighter and sensitive than the previous model. The close out deals are the older version. I have no experience with the new rod but do have one of the old rods. It’s ok but way overpriced for what it is.
  23. I rarely bring a spinning reel . Every lure in my tackle bag can be thrown with my baitcasters and i can cast a lot more accurate with casting gear
