  1. Loving my candy apple red'ish Polarkraft!
  2. i think it actually depends on your height. If you're 6'2", then yes. if you're 5'4", then no. I'm 6'1", and every one of my rods, both spinning and baitcasting, are between 6'10" & 7'4".
  3. Got my 712sf couple days ago. It is rated as a medium light power/fast action. I would definately say this is MUCH more like a medium power/fast action. Wouldn't even consider it a medium light power. Guess I'll have to try for a 711........
  4. Just ordered a 712SF for light stuff arsenal.
  5. I throw my 78's, and 97's on spinning equipment. Falcon Bucco 7'0 Cranker Spin model rods.
  6. anything that goes over 60, a hot foot for sure!
  7. the used FS12T. Maybe you can offer $600 for the pair and get them. If in nice shape, they are a stable and nice fishing Kayak. I own a 2017 Ascend FS12T and love it! altered the seat base (added aluminum seat base) for seat to sit a little higher.
  8. Drivers on the road, when pulling it, and fires! I had 2 boats totaled by accidents on road (both not my fault) and lost 2 in a garage fire.....Once I'm on the lake, I'm fine! picture below of my beautiful Champion 183, and next to it was a Grumann aluminum bassboat, that melted to the ground.
  9. Honestly, it'll be PRETTY darn hard to tear a Lund hull that way! But, I would recommend being careful "where" you beach it, if you do need to beach it.
  10. BASS has been having tourneys there since the 80's
  11. can't answer unless you state what technique you need a rod for.
  12. I own a pair of these Quantums, along with a pair of Dobyns Fury 705CB's. I use the Quantums for deeper diver (over 10ft and the Dobyns for shallow to mid range divers. Love both rods! i got lucky a few years ago, and found the Quantum KVD crankbait rods on clearance at a local Walmart for $40 each!! that's why I bought 2! another favorite of mine, and may be my 1st choice for open water cranking for smallies is a Dobyns Champion 764CB-RM crankbait model I have. it's a graphite crankbait rod, but has the perfect power/action for cranks! I disagree. The Fury 705CB is fine for throwing 1.5's. It has a soft tip, and the perfect moderate action.
  13. picture of mine, when i first bought it. They seem pretty stable to me. mine is a 2016 model. They made several changes from the 2015 to the 2016 model, such as: The 2016 Bass Pro Ascend FS12T has changed significantly from 2015. During the 2016 production year, there was a shift from placing a rod holder on the starboard gunwale to placing tracks on both the Port and starboard. This is a very positive change that provides considerable flexibility in what and where owners may place accessories. In addition to this change, the center weathertight hatch has been raised slightly to make it more weathertight. I also raised the seat a little by using square aluminum tubing.
  14. Izorline XXX Super Copolymer!
  15. NICE smallie for sure! Note:....tighten up that handle on your net!
  16. ^^^ABSOLUTELY!^^^ I use 2 Dobyns Fury 705CB's for shallow to medium runners, and LOVE THEM!
  17. I use old & cheap mono, in 8-10 lb test. Saves time & money over the long run.
  18. all their marine batteries were $20 off last month. I grabbed 2 series 31 wet cells for $79 each. NOTE:.............Their 31 series wet cell's are the size of other's 29 series. Not sure about the AGM's.
