  1. I have no clue where to get one in Michigan. If you have any old reels laying around try using the handle from that.the nut part is tricky though if it goes on easy ur good but if you have to use a wrench DONT try it.majority of handles will fit it from the big 3 main thing is them threads
  2. I have a 6' ugly stik for one of my penns i tried a 6'6" was kinda tip heavy.im a uglystik user i have 7 of them but in the 7' size i use 4000 size.casting 1/8 on a med ugly stick at 7 foot aint gonna be the best experiance
  3. I have 3 penn feirce 2000 reels they weight about 8.7 oz i think.you may want to go up a rod mine are all on med action rods .but as long as that combo feels ok you should be ok

I use c3 in all sizes .drags are fine for musky.4600 for bass and 5000 size for saltwater.i use my 6500 sizes for live bait.If u ask me the 5500 size is fine for lures and musky even though i dont do musky..i assume they are like my stripers .you will be glad u have a abu it will last your lifetime and a few more.btw i have used a cardiff its nothing compared to a abu.IMO

  11. All i see is a lot of cool reel handles shapes and sizes.Now if i could find some reels with cool handles for 5$ and 10$ shipping and not have to wait a month to get them id be game.

WOT is what 2 strokes are made for just as diesels are made to run mid range for long periods of time.So many times i have bought weedeaters brand new that didnt run at yard sales for less then 10$ the most common problem was a spark plug fouled up from not bein ran hot.just as it should.oooo and fresh gas is a must not over a few days old even.And the mix is gotta be perfect.
  15. If they just slide u maybe able to cut the little tubes that come with the spray cans like wd 40,liquid wrench etc i know some are smaller then others and getting the right inside diameter and length is trial and error.

  17. I have seen on another site pictures of a few corsiars and cardiffs that had handle problems .the handle side plate would bend and eventually pop out this was on a catfish forum.
  18. Fly fisher nailed it.last time i checked fish have no clue if your using a shakeyhead rod or a dropshot rod.all this tech specific rod stuff catches way more humans then fish.i dont care whats "fun" to use.i have more fun catchin fish then looking at my fishing rod
  19. If not just look for long handle rds at yard sales and cut them to suit ,lots of times you can find big name rods with a $3 price on them

I know braids aint very abrasion resistant ,im goin to put braid on a few of my saltwater spinning rods .im thinking 6lb with 20 lb strength im looking for distance and sensitivity with 1 oz on med heavy rods.im goin to use big game as a leader or maybe not depends on if i get snagged a lot or not.
  21. I learned long ago to use pliers and grab the hook first then lip them.takes pratice but after a while you can do it just as easy as lipping them
  22. Even with that no plastics will float you have to actually use a brand that does float i do know luck e strike has floating worms and lizards
