Thanks, I was not sure if you fell into the issue before the re-release as I know a lot of them were snapping. I have a shakeyhead and agree it's a bit heavier than most 3 powered rods- just hope it don't break.

Love me the original 110 +1. I think the Jr's may have their time and place but I do not think I will purchase any more as I cannot cover as much water (casting distance) and do not think it adds more fish or better quality fish. BUT If I am having a rough day with the 110+1 sure I will tie on the Jr. and see if I can get some more fish. So I guess it has its time and place. From my limited experience on water with SM- I will say smallmouth love the Jrs. I do not have spots in the lakes that I fish frequently.

I love my 764cb for ripping lipless out of grass. definitely a 4 power as dobyns is a little lighter tip. Don't forget the kadens blank runs "faster" too

I have recently done this and for me my answer was the plano edge 3700 flex. My backpack was too heavy and very cumbersome and wanted to downsize while keeping enough of what I "NEED". Changing to 3700's helped me... I now use a plano 3700 weekender for most of my trips now. 3x 3700's: 1x Terminal 1x Jig (with modified Spinnerbait harnesses) 1x Flex- This is the box that changes for me daily/seasonally/however you want. These 3 boxes fit absolutely perfect in the case.

I would go crazy as I have several baits that behave differently in different water temp. I stick to depth of bait for ease of use. The Plano flex has definitely changed the way I sort things now..

Hello, I have been looking forward to using the MEGA imaging that had come with my trolling motor. I fish out of the front and back of my boat so I never really found a spot that I liked but just found out that I could use the head of a unit in 1 location and bluetooth connect to a phone/tablet. Is this possible? Have you done it? Worth it (since live is not that much more)? This is being put on a Pontoon and the trolling motor is in the front. I already have a fish finder built in the console (a place that I do not like and it is small) Just looking for options on how to upgrade. Thanks

Is it worth saving plastics to melt down and repour into "menaces/senkos/paddletails". From my understanding if I keep all the plastics similar color it wouldn't be too bad just need to add some plastisol (not sure if this is the case). Looking for anyone that has done this or if its worth it as I was going to be making some aluminum molds cheap. TIA

Trying to adjust my tackle problem/infatuation with bringing it ALL. Trying to condense to a smaller backpack. I've decided to try 3 3700 plano edge boxes (terminal, jig, flex) and they fit. Did the adjustment putting a spinnerbait holder into the jig box and feel good about the terminal being stocked in there. Now the Flex box... Looking for ideas on how people set it up for a "day box" ie. what compartments did you go with?

Have you ever had your edge terminal box open up? I am debating between the two and the latch is really my deal breaker as mine will be in a backpack vertical and I have heard they open up from time to time.

Rod Guides fine. Checked with Q-tip- Thanks for the suggestion as I did not think of that originally. All of my other braids have held up much better than this Superslick as I am only fishing vegetation with no rock/wood. Once I took about 10 yards off the line did look much better but I still stripped it off as I was done with it. This sounds like my issue as well. I had an initial bad experience with the coating on the line but once it wore off I felt that it was fine. Now it is off the reel for some suffix 832.
