  1. I have two hook types for my drop-shotting...Neko and Off-Set worm hook.
  2. Teardrop split rings - gives it a bit more freedom of movement than the ovals.
  3. Easterlies are winds that come from the east and blow toward the west.
  4. Owner Weighted Twistlocks in 5/0....weight dependent on how deep I want to run it..
  5. Probably the only thing I hate about my Silverado (bought it used). Rear window in cab, and both front and rear windows of the topper are tinted...makes it almost impossible to see straight back.
  6. Allen, where are you gonna offer these for sale?
  7. ^ Dude - you and the others who do that work need those mental health days at times. What you do, I couldn't (I know this). Thank you and all your brothers and sisters for being out there.
  8. Ya - there's instructions out there to DIY fluid beds. One even uses a PVC coupler and an aquarium pump.
  9. Great job on the catch, Katie.
  10. ^ I've broken two rods in 56 years of fishing...both cause I'd set them down then accidentally stepped on them...never from actual use.
  11. ^ That's pretty much the standard that any instructional article/vid gives. I'm sure @Munkin can chime in as Allen is our BR expert.
  12. Bend the point of the hooks out a little bit.
  13. Another view showing the jack-plate (short shaft transom, long shaft motor). I can fit all 20 of my rod/reel combos (16 bass, 4 panfish) with room for more, and all my tackle in lidded compartments and mid-ship is a 15 gallon livewell with digitally controlled re-circulation Still doing little bits here and there, but the main construction was my winter project Sept '21- June '22.
  14. I got 6x3700 boxes of cranks - but the one box I reach for the most is my lipless.
  15. Personally - I'd disconnect both cables and have them load tested independently...most local auto-stores will do it for free.
  16. Yep - refer back to it regularly. Though you do need to update the Staff page. Mr Franco is still listed and 12Pound isn't.
  17. @Catt - my grandma always had a bowl of those sitting around.
  18. "Sen-Sen was a type of breath freshener originally marketed as a "breath perfume" in the late 19th century by the T. B. Dunn Company and then produced by F&F Foods until they discontinued the product in July 2013." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sen-Sen Sorry dude, you're out of luck.
  19. ^ Dude - where'd you find the pic of my yard?
  20. They're currently running a special - buy used and get 30% of what you spend as a gift card. Caused me to order a used Mojo 6'10" MLXF...was wanting one anyway, and this pushed me over the edge...especially since the new Mojos are (IMO) ugly.
  21. 703 is more general purpose than the 702...I have both, and that's what I'd get for a GP spinning rod of those two.
  22. I've bought Mojo Bass and Victory rods from ALF, including used, and they've all been 10/10 Even the couple used reels I got from them were excellent...little boat rash but mechanically perfect. ALF is my first stop for rods...
  23. Ya - but it's still the braid wrapping around the leader...and yes, I use Luke's method to tie the FG as well.
  24. Quite a few of them did - the one close to me didn't though...they moved to a new location and have about as much there as they always did.
