  1. Yep - same here for my one CC Yep-yep - with today's interest rates - no way am I carrying a balance longer than I have to She have the Debit one? Mine links direct to my bank account - so like the bank's debit card...but I still get the 5% discount.
  2. If you're fishing around timber - 15# Big Game ain't gonna cut it. 20# minimum.
  3. Pics to show starting and (almost) ending point I didn't use 5200 anywhere to seal - I used JB Weld Steel Reinforced Epoxy.
  4. I'm with Glenn - unless I win the lottery, there's no way I'm gonna be able to afford FFS.
  5. Ummm - Tom...Endura C2-30 has 5 forward and 3 reverse speeds. https://minnkota.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/shop/freshwater-trolling-motors/endura?v=101691
  6. Better than being woken in the morning with 70# of Lab mix laying on you and licking your face cause she needs to go out. Ya...that happened with Sara one time.

Kya is still looking like one very happy girl...

I like the occasional dog, but the Nathan's contest is just insanity. How many in 10 minutes? 2 - that's my limit of dogs in one sitting.
  9. I dunno about Andy, but my rod-sock color indicates the power-class of the rod.
  10. American Legacy Fishing - it's where I purchase most of my rods. They also have an excellent used area - I've gotten two reels and a rod that were like new for well under their retail price.
  11. Like my buddy, Gim...I'm also meticulous with my aluminum despite it being a 50 year old hull.
  12. Sounds like a fun time, Dean. I'd love to take another camp/fish trip...unfortunately the home situation prevents it.
  13. Looking it over, the only real change from the 2019 version is the addition of the zero-adjust and a slight loss of capacity. Drag is the same as my 2019 versions, with a 10yd loss of capacity for 16# test mono. Have to remember that the Tatula CT and the Tatula 100 are NOT the same 'line'...the CT is based on the Fuego CT with the only real difference being the T-Wing. The Tatula 100 is a different design.
  14. Far as I know, the 'smallest' TM you can get now is 30# thrust. I had one on my old canoe as it's main propulsion...but keep the throttle down to 3 and you'd get around 10#
  15. Here's to 20+ more years of BR... And Kent is the 'old fart' of the group, eh. Why am I not surprised?
  16. Depends on how often you lend one out to girlfriend/wife when they shave...
  17. Has a stand-in for all the vids he shoots as he's actually a 300lb, hairy guy who catches nothing but dinks.
  18. Those styptic pencils are hard to find now-days...so anytime I come across some, I stock up. I think I got 6 un-used in the medicine cabinet right now...plus the one currently in use.
  19. Lowe, Lund and Alumacraft are probably the 'big 3' when it comes to aluminum. I'm a fan of riveted hulls, but it's a matter of personal preference. 2 stroke motors are pretty bullet proof, known for lasting a long time if you treat them well...mine is 50 years old and still runs like a champ.
  20. @WRB - Paul's still around...elsewhere. He put a new vid out on his YouTube channel just last month.
  21. To be fair, I did have to purchase a couple tools to do the job...didn't own a rivet gun before I started.
  22. Unless you don't follow the thread - I have "Automatically Follow" turned off...have to manually engage it if I want to follow the thread. So unless they quote or tag me, I won't see it in Notifications unless I've manually set the Follow to 'On'.
  23. Ask and ye shall receive - before and after shots.
  24. I'll second this. My boat is a 1972 Alumacraft with a 1973 Evinrude 25hp on it. Now I did gut and rebuild the boat to turn it into a bass boat, but even an old 3-seater would be enough to get you on the water.
