Ya - I don't go below 30# on casting gear. 10# Braid is for finesse spinning gear.

I can't skip worth a darn with casting gear...so I have a MH/F spinning rig for that

I use to fish the Straight River near Park Rapids...brook and rainbow trout were fairly common. I have pulled a few bullhead out of Harrison's Bay on Minnetonka, but it's rare.

St Croix is only at 10% - I'll wait to see what others have it discounted to.

Ya, all three of my reels, ordered from them at different times, came in within 3 days...meanwhile shops here in the states don't even get the order out the door for 2-3 days, then it's another 1/2 to a week before you see it - if you're lucky.

Do a search on a topic of interest. If you find a good thread, you can always save it off. I have an add-on for my FireFox that lets me save web-pages as E-Pub, with the pictures even. If it's a multi-page topic...I can add pages as 'chapters' and save the whole schmeer in one file...then import to my Calibre and read on my tablet at my leisure.

If you're thinking of ordering JDM from Digitaka - better do it soon...exchange rate is dropping. The Miravel 2500 I paid $90 for less than two weeks ago is now up to $101.

The $116 was a Tatula 100H casting I got a Miravel 2500 for $90 and an Ultegra 1000 for $105

And getting more expensive - reel I paid $116 for a week-and-a-half ago is up to $121 now....and it's because the exchange rate is going down...was 142yen/dollar, now it's 137

Could it be a difference in supply location? Could Brazil be getting 2nd-tier reels?
