Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
And Round #1 of TW shipments is in - Round #2 should be here middle of next week Flashbacks fill in my chatter weight-grouping - already had 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in my box Bull Gill gives me 3 colors of that - already had Bluegill and Crappie. 1st of two Mojo rods - it was either 2 Mojos or 1 more Victory...didn't have enough for 2 more Victorys...this replaces my Fury 703SF which is moving to the panfish arsenal.

Still waiting for the first installment of my TW order to get here...but this arrived today. Found a place online that was divesting itself of old stock. This was still New-In-Box...$90

Dobyns Dropshot/Finesse Shaky Head Rod
Oh - it doesn't show in the order - but does show when shipped.... TW also has them at that price....I got my 2 Mojos for $116+tax from them.

Reel for Dobyns Champ Extreme Spinning?
I dunno whether handles from other models will fit...might have to search around.

Dobyns Dropshot/Finesse Shaky Head Rod
They're on the 'naughty list', so I can't tell you.

Dobyns Dropshot/Finesse Shaky Head Rod
I've been a fan of Dobyns too...but St Croix has a much wider selection of technique specific rods...so I'm adding 5 St Croix to my arsenal this year, to go with the 6 Dobyns and 4 'others'. Spinning - you can get a Mojo Bass 6'10" ML/XF for under $120 or go to a US made Victory 6'10" ML/XF for $160 if you know where to look.

Reel for Dobyns Champ Extreme Spinning?
Handles should be interchangeable...and the drag is at the top of the spool, so changing handles won't affect that at all.

Black Friday
Maybe not a boatload - but between Digitaka, one used reel, one used rod and BF sales...I've probably saved close to $200 from retail on just rods and reels alone.

Music streaming pandora vs Spotify
I mainly use my Spotify to find new artists/albums...then buy the CD(s) and digitize them...music on my tablet or phone is 'local' played through Media Monkey. I currently have 3 'Banker's Boxes' filled with my CDs.

Omnia is releasing a special deal each day for the next 4 days. Today - it's 50% off Lews Custom Speed Spool and Custom Pro Speed Spool.

Music streaming pandora vs Spotify
I use to do Pandora - but moved to Spotify as it's easier to set up custom playlists and also search for new music.

Don't - never have.

Old People
Well, I'm 63 and don't consider myself old...so I'd say no.

Depth Finder
I depends on your budget, but in order Down-Image - helps delineate brush piles from hummocks - what 2-D shows as a hump, DI might show as a sunken Yule Tree. Side-Image - really helps you find structure/cover that the bass hang out around...and the fish too. Mapping - Built-in maps will help you get to promising spots faster. I know some say mapping should be higher - but I run Navionics on my tablet, so for me, it's not as important on the sonar unit.

Post a photo a day!
Where-as I've never spent a winter out of the snow-belt. Only Yule times I wasn't in snow was the couple I spent with the mother-in-law, once in Boca Raton, once in Winter Park (Orlando suburb)

TW Black Friday Sale Glitch?
Shipment confirmation...when they ship it. Also, if you use a CC or PayPal - you'll notice they charged less than what the order confirmation stated.

The official "Who's drinking tonight?" thread
Hangovers are over-rated...last one I had was 1983...swore off them after that.

Question for the mods about new posters
I don't think it counts when you're talking about yourself, Paul.

The latest sale thread
It's not so much a deal as the exchange rate between the Dollar and the Yen...that's why the difference for the two Tatulas...dollar dropped vs the yen between the orders. Shipping time is fast too - all four arrived within three days of my ordering them...and they're coming from Kobe, Japan.
