  1. Forward-bow area just got it's last coat of paint - once that dries I can mount/wire the bow lights...the holes you see near the prow are for the lights I can even apply the Reg numbers and State Reg sticker - went far enough back for that. I made an 'oopsie' earlier - hull color (interior and exterior) is Smoke Gray, not Charcoal Gray.
  2. In addition to rebooting the modem - on my Desktop I've tried Turning off my VPN Changing my VPN server Clearing Cache Deep clear with Glary Utilities Full power-off reboot Nothing seems to help
  3. Not a sale per-se - but today only, Scheels has free shipping with no minimum.
  4. Ya - been seeing the slow-load here too...on my Desktop, laptop and tablet.
  5. I'm still sticking with Seth...rest I just kinda tossed darts. And don't feel bad...I'm at 66.6% (Twilight Zone theme plays in background)
  6. I tried, I tried...I just have bad luck with any contests.
  7. Lunar Eclipse just ending - bad pic, from the phone, through tree branches.
  8. For casting - has to be my Patriarchs Dual braking system, lightweight - and they don't make them anymore Spinning - a 'cheap' reel - Mitchell Avocet RZT Another well made reel - line roller bearing (not bushing) and aluminum spool make this braid ready right out of the box. And it's another reel that's not made anymore Why do all the good reels get 'retired' by their manufacturers?
  9. I was confused for a second "Crankbait feeling bottom?" Bouncing a Squarebill or Shad Rap off structure....right... Ignore me.
  10. The topic is mono. But I agree - I use YZH on several of my rigs...great line at a decent price.
  11. That's my 'go-to' for drop-shotting. Comes in finesse hook, worm hook and even Neko hook styles.
  12. I dunno if I got a bad spool or what - but while most people say it's fairly limp, the 10# I tried on my jerkbait rig was very 'wiry' and even KVD didn't help much. Went back to my tried-and-true Elite.
  13. Depends on the reel - I like the IPT for buzzbaits to be 30+. A 7.1 might not hit that...my Supreme 7.1 and my Patriarch 7.1 only hit 29-IPT So my Patriarch 7.9 (32-IPT) and Fuego CT-XS (33.9-IPT) are what I toss buzzers on.
  14. Ya, the Shortstops are auto-rest breakers Personally, I would replace it with a manual. Added benefit of a manual is you can use it as your cut-off switch as well
  15. Looks like an auto-reset breaker...those will self trip back to closed when the condition that caused them to trip open is 'fixed'. I prefer manual re-set breakers myself. I would check the model number and make sure that the breaker is rated for the TM. Should be 'imprinted' on the breaker case...they might even have the AMP rating there.
  16. Battery I'll be running is a Mighty Max AGM 100ah - and only the TM on that I've got a Might Max AGM 35ah to run lights, pumps, electronics.
  17. Good to know - thanks. And I'll definitely inspect that area before I take it out...gonna be a bit yet.
  18. Definitely a 4-power My jig rod is a Fury 704 with a Patriarch 7.1 mounted.
  19. I'll have to put up with those issues - the 45# was the best bow-mount I could get with my budget this year...and even then it was a refurbished unit with a 1-year warranty.
  20. How well does that Edge 45# pull that boat around? I've got an Edge 45# that I'm putting on my F-9 (Alumacraft 14' that I gutted and am transforming into a bass boat with storage, livewell, the works.). Wondering how well the Edge will pull it.
  21. Carpeted cover for rod locker is now in Shows the contrast between the carpet and the hull paint color. (posted from my Galaxy A-51)
  22. Sounds like you're gonna have a good dinner, Paul.
  23. North American Fishing is a here again-gone again group that's currently owned by some Russian investors. Many complaints about bias from members/former members of their 'Club'. They haven't even put a vid out in six years and their 'registered' website is 'not found'.
  24. The place I look at for knot testing is Salt Strong. Still, the MK knot hasn't failed me yet for terminal attachment and the FG is still my go-to when I want to tie a leader on.
  25. Even though I'm normally not out until well after sun-up and back well before sun-down - it's like this "Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it." I'm mounting lights to the F-9 even though I'm still looking at only daylight fishing. And like Dog said - I had battery lights for the canoe...just in case.
