  1. Did you get any measurements? Length? Girth?
  2. Well, I took a jump in the BR group - 52nd to 37th spot. Also moved my percentage from 50 to 74 Let's hope my guys continue to do well at Fork.
  3. Lets see 18 8 30 34 4 My best Round 1 so far - hope they can keep it up.
  4. From your location? Just a degree or two.
  5. I would - but I don't have the time today...it's a short trip.
  6. I always have Seth in my line-up...gotta support the home-town boy.
  7. It's an alright reel for the price - though it seems that it's been discontinued and replaced with the Max-X.
  8. Depends on what you want to do - Medium-Heavy/Fast is the 'Swiss Army knife' of rods...does quite a few things well. That's a personal preference really - myself at 6'1", I prefer 7' rods...which is what all my canoe rods are.
  9. We had a few flakes floating around yesterday (No, not those type...sheesh) Today it's already 55 at 10:30...mid 60s expected...and I'm going out shore fishing for crappie this afternoon.
  10. I got most of my Fury rods from them. They have a yearly Dobyns sale around BF for 25% off...better savings than TW's 20% BF sale.
  11. Used section on Legacy's site - Pflueger Patriarch 7.9 retailed for $199 - a couple slight scuff marks and I got it for $70.
  12. Never mind fitting in, I think it'd be bigger than my canoe.
  13. Unusual to have someone here know them considering their home and music style. Good on you!
  14. Ya, we only have channels and flatheads here.
  15. Yep - they have green.
  16. Someone else asked about a 103HI a while ago. Did a search - found a gold one for sale for $30 https://www.payszpz.ga/products.aspx?cname=daiwa+103hi&cid=8&xi=4&xc=21
  17. You can use flipping hooks in light cover...or no cover. Just imparts a different movement to the plastic than an off-set hook. Opposite is true too - get a heavy duty off-set hook and you can use that in heavy cover.
  18. Problem with that one - even using the gripper and hanging that on the scale hook - fish can still flop around enough to drop off. That's why I use the carabiner.
  19. Well, higher pressure is a newer thing. My bike is a 1976 Bridgestone Kabuki Super-Light 10-speed road-bike. Still with the original paint job and sticker...just had a 'tune-up' done a couple years ago.
  20. Well, that was a bust. Arrived today and two problems 1: They didn't use any packing material inside the shipping box so the reel-box got tossed around, busted open, and the reel was knocking around loose...pic taken when I opened it. 2: I ordered a 7.1:1 - that's what the description had - what arrived was a 5.4:1. So after some back-and-forth with the seller...including the pics...I'm shipping it back and getting a full refund - they're not even going to charge me the normal re-stocking fee because of the hassle and mistakes at their end.
  21. I'm with my 'neighbor' - as light as I'm patient for - sometimes as low as 1/16oz.
  22. We're probably the same generation - though WT is a more recent group - first album 1997, latest album 2019.
  23. Last 'bike' I rode in the winter was my old Kawasaki F-5...350 single cylinder with knobby tires.
  24. That's higher than mine - my bike tires only call for 80#
  25. If you're letting line off the reel during your 'cast' - you're pitching...not flipping.
