It was pretty good actually, lots of good info passed around. Glenn dived out early, but we actually went into over-time...don't know how long the rest of the guys chatted after I had to drop-out.

I hear that - luckily I have software that lets me cut clips out...the short clips I've also posted are from that.

I hear that - any still I post that has a date/timestamp on it is from my video...and it's a 'cheap' camera too...I can't afford even a used Go-Pro.

I'd go with a President over the Max - but ya, the Aird-X is a good rod at that price point. I started with Aird-Xs as my main rods, and will still have two in the rotation this coming year.

I watch kayak fishers just because so much also transfers over to canoe.

Well, it ended up being pretty normal for snow here even if it was warmer than average...so lakes, streams, rivers should have normal levels from the melt that's already started a bit.

I just remembered the most blatant example of 'shoddy service'. One year, Yule Cards sent out the same day - one to my parents who live in Golden Valley, MN - the other to the wife's mother who lived in Orlando, FL at the time. Both with just 1st Class Forever stamps on them. Card to mother-in-law arrived in 3 days (1500 miles) Card to my parents took 2 weeks! (15 miles) Wait...what?

Some of my tabs are 'Current Rigs' - this year's arsenal with some stats on rod/reel, the line on it and the main techniques 'Rods/Reels' - detailed info on all 'Terminal' - weights, hooks, etc 'Bass Lures' - all my hardbaits (the sample above is from that) 'Plastics' - all my plastics - type, brand, name, size, color Are you calling me mad, buddy? (okay, I'll admit to it)

It keeps coming up - though it wasn't that long ago that we got C&R open on walleye/northern open...use to be we couldn't even target bass until Memorial weekend.

Doesn't matter what line I'm using for mainline - neither if it's spinner or BC. I put on 60-70 yds of mainline over cheap mono backing - 10# Big Game on the BCs, 4# Sufix Elite on the spinners.

I've done it a bit - paddle the canoe into a mass of lily pads and do some flipping into nearby 'holes'. But mostly I pitch.

Dunno here - I call them different things cause they are different. Flip - no line comes off the reel during the 'cast' Pitch - line comes off the reel during the 'cast'.
