What is your heavy jig rod?
I can’t imagine throwing more than 1/2oz jig on my conquest 844. To me, it’s certainly not a “big jig” rod.

What is your heavy jig rod?
What do you mean you “built out” an 844 to 7’2?

What is your heavy jig rod?
Same, I have several rods I’ll use a heavy jig on but I’ve been finding my 73 XH is quite versatile. Amazing frog rod but will also throw a lightly weighted six inch Texas rigged senko, power worm, speed worm and big jig on it. Fantastic rod that you’ll never wonder if you needed more power with. I actually wish they made it with a full cork handle.

How much line will the steez ct sv hold
It says 8-110. How much 18lb shooter would it hold. Is there a conversion table ?

Smallest baitcaster that can handle 17-20lb fluorocarbon
I personally love the 70 sized reels but they just typically don’t have the spool capacity to handle 17-20lb line. What other reels are out there that are small in hand but have a deep enough spool? I have several zillions but I’d prefer to keep additional reels around $200 or less. 100 sized reels seem about right on but wondering what your thoughts are. I’m considering the curado mgl 150 but I typically haven’t enjoyed the size of the 150 or larger reels such as the metanium b, cronarch mgl, or curado 200k. Is the curado 150 mgl smaller than the metanium and how would it compare to the zillion g in size ? any help is appreciated

How long do you leave the plastic on your cork?
I too have started with shrink tubing. I enjoy the grip. Don’t get me wrong, fresh cork is better but the heat shrink is nice too Yes Yes Many rods. My steez rods come with it as well as my conquests/NRX rods and Megabass P5s if I remember correctly

. Mine will be paired up with a steez ct sv with a 100mm paddle handle. What did you enjoy throwing on yours ? I’m excited to compare it to my Megabass tachyon shaft.

Megabass Orochi XX EMTF
One of the most versatile rods out there’s. It’s obviously a great moving bait rod but I like to throw paddle tail swim baits, Texas rigs and heavy 3/4oz jigs on braid to leader

Found a marketplace steal on a jdm 6’6 posion adrena 3/8 - 1oz MH for another skipping and pitching rod. At 3.8oz it’s only a tenth of an ounce heavier than my 783c conquest that’s only rated to 3/4. I think this thing should be a fun stick.

Calling all EMTF Gen 2 owners
I recently had a guy break the top two inches off of my Orochi XX EMTF 7’5 F5 and is having it replaced. He’s giving me back the broken one with a new tip on it but it will obviously be two inches shorter. At its original condition I believe the EMTF is one of the best most versatile rods there is. It’s got a soft enough tip to launch anything but it’s got a ton of power and still good sensitivity. I’m wondering what your guys thoughts are on how it would fish two inches shorter and if it’s still useable. Obviously it will be closer to 7’3 and it will have less of a soft tip and the top inches are gone. just wondering if you think it’s useable and if so does what it’s used for change? Any input is appreciated.
