Differences between the new slx150 aand curado 150 mgl
I made a mistake. It’s just the 150 a. Do we know if it’s the same compact frame as the new 150 curado mgl?

Megabass Destroyer P5 Tachyon Shaft vs. Megabass Destroyer P5 X-Bites (And Advice About Setups)
Probably 5/16 oz. I can easily pitch a 1/4 ounce Texas rig with a light weight soft plastic craw. The reel maters when getting to the bottom in. I sold my sd and kept my tachyon shaft. To me, the sd is new and versatile but there’s many rods like it. I’ve yet to experience a 6’7 rod with as much sensitivity and power in a light weight package as the TS

Megabass Destroyer P5 Tachyon Shaft vs. Megabass Destroyer P5 X-Bites (And Advice About Setups)
I would say the tachyon shaft can handle just slightly above 3/4 oz total weight before getting squishy. This is total preference as some people don’t mind fishing squishy rods at the top end of the rating. I absolutely love my tachyon shaft and consider it and ultimate skipping rod that I use for jig, senkos and Texas rugs. The xbites would be too long for me to like to skip with. The xbites is also less powerful . xbites is probably a better rod for deep water bottom contact as long as you stay within its optimal weight range. Again, I find the tachyon shaft to be a blast to fish with. I’ve never fished the x bites

G. Loomis questions
I would somewhat agree. While I wouldn’t say you can’t fish a jig well on an Mbr it wouldn’t be my first choice. You can do anything on a conquest 844C but it’s not going to be perfect for 1/2 of those things I’m going to assume you know the conquest simply isn’t a $$ marketing gimmick… Prior to NRX+, the conquest had a completely different lineup & taper as compared to the NRX. Highest end guides, full cork, the feeling of unlimited strength, and yes, they weigh even less than the NRX. Enter the NRX+ MBR lineup, and I believe those that have fished the NRX version prefer the feel & power of the conquest wrapping.

The latest sale thread
I messed up and missed the premium sale this spring for the first time in three years. I wouldn’t bring myself to pay for the membership without the credit even though it’s worth it. I have to say, in high sight, I’m knd of glad I didn’t get the Omnia membership. The first reason is that I’m spending a lot less because with premium, and free shipping, I was buying a bag of soft plastics every other day. Two, I’m spending much less time and more importantly less fishing time uses an Tacklewarehouse alternative due to Omnia’a limited selection by comparison.

Higher end gear suggestions
I love customs but I can’t help but think about when I made my first major investment in boujee gear. I bought a high end loomis because of the warranty. When buying high end off the shelf sticks you have a feeling that the money is somewhat invested. if I break a conquest, NRX or Steez, I can replace it for much less than the initial investment. plus, there are some genuinely bad a** production model rods with proven technique uses.

Vicious No Fade Braid
I’m looking to put vicious no fade high his his yellow on a couple skipping rods that do double duty for some standard casting length work as well. This line will be going on steez ct sv 70 sized reels. Typically, I’m using 30lb line like I braid but wondering peoples actual experiences with this lines diameter. In my experience the line diameters posted aren’t accurate. For those with experience with vicious no fade, is this like small for its size and if so would 40lb fit with some room to spare on a full 55 yards ish cast? im looking for the thickest line (won’t dig) that will fit the steez ct sv without shortening a full cast due to spoiling the reel. in shirt, Vicious no grade 30 or 40 lb for a 70 sized reel? Do you like 30 or 40lb for a 70 sized baitcaster ?

Fishing a big ribbon tail worm
Thanks boss! Why the heaviest ? Do you get more bites with the faster rof? What’s obvious here is people love big worms! I caught some bigs on my last trip to florida as was just certain this is something I’m going to do wherever I go

Fishing a big ribbon tail worm
Do you fish them weight less or with weight ? If you fish them with weight how much is it and do you peg it. I’ve recently went down the rabbit hole of big ribbon tails and their ability to be quite versatile. It seems as if you can almost fish them like a speed worm, flip them, drag them, c rig them. actually have noticed the speed worm seems to have some crossover into the ribbon tail, thinkijg a free sliding 1/8 ounce gambler rattling weight when you can get away with it ? does anybody skip them under docks ?
