  1. Can't find it to buy yet though right? I want one!
  2. Even if you don't end up likely the newer emtf for jigs you'll find plenty of uses. I use mine constantly. Outside of being able to be Done bottom contact rod that has a softer tip and action it's fantastic as a chatterbait rod, topwater, swimbaits, small cranks, big cranks, lipless. It does it all! It's not even the lightest rod but its always on my deck. FYI I fish braid to floro leader.
  3. 3/16 & 3/8 jigs plus trailer or just Texas rigs. I'd buy an adrena any day over the Dobyns for bottom contact.
  4. You're right. It's going in the trash. The bandito bug is good for one false bite and it's ripped in half!
  5. I have the emtf and it's marketed as a treble hook rod but it's sneaky powerful and sensitive
  6. I'm getting my tackle around. Gut check, this is fairly normal for an inventory of full size jig trailers right? I mean, I have more on order but I'm just trying to figure out if I'm a crazy person or a person that's controlled by a monkey.
  7. Is the way it palms being similar to the td-z a good thing? I don't know anything abkht the td-z
  8. What makes it limited? I guess that they will only make a few lol
  9. Yeah, that's frustrating when the from what I understand the same reel in a different color without the boost spool can be had for $375 on ebay
  10. Thanks for the info. I think I'll order the zillion once it's available for pre order through the jdm market.
  11. I'm looking at all three. Honestly, what's kept me from daiwas lost recently is that the usdm reels are heavy with the exception of the steez. The new tatula is now finally under 7 oz but the zillion is above. I like the lighter reels. This new jdm zillion is 6.1 and so is the alphas. I can dig that.
  12. Does anybody know anything about these yet or when they may be available? As a shimano guy i'm not sure if any of this stuff is ground breaking or now
  13. Tom, do you think the conquest 842c would be better suited based on its higher weight rating and more parabolic bend?
  14. are you able to weigh the Brailist?
  15. As I've said, my understanding is the new levantes are the same levantes but a bit heavier. I'm not saying that's bad. I'm just saying it's not ground breaking. Even in the promo videos, even the hook up tackle videos, I don't hear them saying anything about anything new. It would make sense that they add a tad bit of strength through weight if the initial formula resulted in breakage. Hopefully someone with more information will chime in.
  16. Dealers said that they weigh more than the 2019 levantes. I believe the marketing you're posting is the same marketing from the original roll out of the 2019s. In order to combat breakage, they made they weigh more. That's what I'm told
  17. My buddy has a 2019 Diablo spec r that he loves that didn't break. All the new levantes are just the exact same ones but weigh more, they beefed up the blank to reduce the breakage. So to me, I'd want to see some rod weights before I bought them. At no point should they feel lighter or more sensitive than the 2019s from what I understand, simply, because, they are the same rod but heavier. Maybe someone has more knowledge that would like to chime In. I thought Ben saying rjoa was the biggest rod release EVER was pretty funny. What's so big about it? They are the same rods but heavier. Another marketing term I heard was,"made by the same team responsible for the new p5s!" well, what does that mean? It doesn't mean it's a P5 blank, is the team responsible for the p5s the same team that was responsible for the very light weight 19 levantes that broke? What does any of that matter? This is coming from me who is a megabass fan boy just noticing all the marketing stuff. Kind of like the p5 having triple action points or more than one, it's just marketing as far as I can see. Don't get me wrong, I love my P5 Don't get me wrong, I'm considering picking up a lenvate but I'd just like to see some rod weights
  18. Does anybody have any opinions on the differences in these or is anyone fishing the p5 bait finesse? I'm wondering what techniques people have loved to use these rods for
  19. Just a follow up to this. I've spent about 3 weeks fishing the tachyon shaft so far. A week in michigan and two weeks in Florida. Out of all my gear I couldn't help myself but to keep the taychon shaft in my hands, especially in Florida. I found that it easily skips a 6 inch senko or 5.8 inch geecrack bellows stick well. It will throw the five inch but you'll have to be more careful. I spent most of my time in Florida throwing a 3/8 jackhammer with a cowbow or spunk shad trailer. I threw the 1/2oz too. I threw all my techniques on braid to 16-20lb fc100 leader. It also was fantastic for a swim jig, Texas rig and the most fun I had was pitching a 1/4 oz Tokyo rig with a big craw/creature into flooded bushes in 3ft of water. I typically throw my jackhammers on a 7'3mh adrena and was not limited much on distance on the short tachyon shaft. Also, I could not help but laugh like a little kid feeling bites and swinging for the fences with this thing. The tachyon shaft is crazy light for its power and incredibly sensitive. I'd venture to say it's ? nrx sensitive ?. It also bends pretty deep when pounding fish to the boat. I just picked up the super destroyer because ya know, you have to have a second skipping rod. Will report back on that soon.

  21. Does anybody make a pre rigged power shot hook setup similar to the drop shot hooks with the barrel swival made by vmc and I believe there is another one. Something like a Tokyo rig bit with a longer wire or a spot to put heavier line in for drop shots
