Best frog rod in the 7’ 7’2” range
73xh expride, can be used for flipping and ripping swim jigs too

Can I pair a 100-150 sized casting reel with a 7-7’2” rod for cranking or does it need to be shorter?
Do what you’d like! There are no rules, includes those people saying you need a take of a reel to fish heavy cover. Do what you’d like

7.3 Mh P Adrena (2nd gen)vs NRX 873 CRR
I don’t believe so. This is the middle gen. Newest ones are different Correct It is a great spinnerbait rod. Problem is, I have two conquest 844c’s that also make great moving bait rods.

Gear ratio for pitchin
Daiwa has a sweet zillion ten speed that looks great. I just got so used to pitching with a 5.5oz reel I don’t want to go back to 7.6oz

7.3 Mh P Adrena (2nd gen)vs NRX 873 CRR
Im waning to compare these rods, because after thinking about it, and wanting to get rid of my 7.3 Medium Heavy in favor of the NRX Plus 873 CRR, I started to think about the blanks themselves, and how different of a rod that they must be. The Adrena 7.3 is the same length as the NRX. It is very light, while the NRX is probably slightly lighter. The NRX will be slightly more sensitive, but the Adrena you certainly aren't missing bites from a sensitivity perspective. And the real seat on the Adrena and the NRX are great. I’ve always struggled to keep the adrena in my hands but that’s because Im lucky enough to have other great combos. I suppose that just means if I were to trade up to the NRX that a different combo would get more idle time. Does anybody have any experience with fishing both of these rods, or know if the 873 is that much different than the Poison Adrena 7.3 Medium Heavy? Is maybe the NRX has a little more backbone? Let me know your thoughts.

Are the Orochis As Bad As They Say??
Had a xx emtf for years and never had an issue. Fantastic rod

What do you use your 73 MH adrena for?
That balance is a great point. Between the lightness of the rod, the balance, and the awesome reel seat it really is a fantastic rod.

Ninja Trolling Motor Grass Blade: Experience & Opinions?
If you fish heavy grass you’ll never go back to one.

What do you use your 73 MH adrena for?
While I think the gen two has a soft tip making it great for moving baits it’s got plenty of backbone to set the hook on a jig or Texas rig. Anymore fast turns it into to your point an exclusive jig rod.

Two ninjas in stalled at once.

Dual ninja or bust. I could never go back. I keep spares when I go on long trips just in case.

What do you use your 73 MH adrena for?
I own one, at one point owned two. I’ve always loved the balance.c overall lightness and how small the reel set feels. Admittedly, I’m lucky enough to have nicer rods that my nicest reels sit on so I’ve not found the one for this. At the same time, I’ve always found it difficult to keep this rod in my hand because it’s not specific and most of my other rods I’ve got uses for. So what do you use it for? What reel do you love on it ? Speaking about the gen 2, the one right before this new one.

New 2025 JDM Daiwa Steez LTD CT SV
I agree in wanting a ct sized reel with a bigger spool. I too have several alphas and while I think they are an amazing deal, especially needing a skipping or light pitching reel I love the ct frame far more. That loongze reel and the baites look like a slightly smaller version off the alphas and while I like that it’s small I don’t love the ergonomics. It’s almost too flat but then has sides whereas the ct just disappears in the the palm of your hand.

Battle Of The House Brands?
This , buy from Japan in bulk, wait for big sales on things like senkos. From my experience, there isn’t much to be saved in “house” brands, AND academy doesn’t make crankbaits

New 2025 JDM Daiwa Steez LTD CT SV
I wonder if this frame will take a standard ct sv spool? The shallower spool is a deal breaker for my uses.
