Maybe I missed it earlier but I just noticed that Humminbird finally has MEGA Live on their website. Still can’t buy one which is no surprise. Finally able to learn some details that I’ve been wondering about. Connects via Ethernet so you can still connect MEGA 360 imaging to the same unit. Everything is messed up right now. Today I went shopping for a new Lazy Boy recliner at a local furniture / appliance dealer. They said if I needed to order a different color it would take nine months to get it. They are a major appliance dealer and the lady said they ran completely out of washer and dryers during the pandemic. It’s crazy. The government is giving us money to spend and there’s nothing to spend it on.

The brand is too valuable to go away. I could see someone buying them and messing it all up though. Ed Chambers died in 2018 and it’s still a family owned business. Makes sense that they might be interested in selling it. Probably 40% of my fish are caught on Zoom products. I have a bag in my boat just for Trickworms. It weighs about 5 lbs.

Yeah, and the great thing about it is you can spend the whole day figuring out how to catch fish, then time travel back to the beginning of the day and wear-um-out!

Sorry guys but I think it's game over for gas powered vehicles. This thing can tow 10,000 lbs and has 230 mile range or 300 miles for more money. Zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. How long are people gonna pay extra for a truck you have to buy gas for? Only problem I see is finding a charging station that will accommodate a trailer behind the vehicle. I'm sure it won't get 300 miles towing a boat. Some of the lakes I fish are over 250 miles round trip.

As long as you set your drag to 3 - 4 ounces, you should be fine with 1 lb test. Also be sure to use a net on any fish over 4 inches long.

No, I'd never heard about it until now. I did google it and it looks interesting. The artifacts are at the Johnsonville Historic Park. I've been wanting to go there for a while but never got around to it. Lot of history there. Now I have another reason to go. I'm glad you mentioned it. The family farm is on the Duck River a good distance up river from the site in question. Back before no-till farming became the norm, my grandfather used to find a lot of arrow heads every spring when he plowed the fields. I think the native Americans made them along the river. The ones we found look like the factory rejects. ?

I grew up fishing the Duck River in Tennessee which has been called the most biologically diverse river in the country. It has 151 species of fish. I think I’ve caught 14 of them but I’m still working on it. ?

I just did a quick search and found this OffShore spinning reel. The largest option has a 30lb drag and has a listed line capacity of 130 yards of 30lb line. This is not a finesse reel and I don't think it would cast a ned rig very well. People like to tell you how you should use certain equipment for certain things. Those people are usually trying to sell that equipment. There are plenty of people that only use spinning reels and plenty of people who only use bait casting reels. I use both and follow my own rules on what I use each for. It's a personal preference.

Water seems to attract strange people. I’m cruising up the Tennessee River one day about 30 yard from the bank. I hear a strange noise and at first I thought it was coming from my outboard. Then I look toward the bank and see a guy with no shirt, long beard, hair down to his waist. He has his arms in the air. He’s looking toward the sky and he’s screaming at the top of his lungs. I gave the outboard a little more gas.

I carry a Brecknell and a 6lb and 12lb Chatillion. The Brecknell is very accurate and has worked great for me. Online reviews say it has a problem with moisture. BBQ is a regional thing and you can't compare regions. We went to a highly rated BBQ restaurant in Indiana one time. It had been there for decades and was packed. I figured it had to be good. I was wrong. I thought the ribs tasted like something you would get in frozen TV dinner. Different taste I guess.

Yes, I aware of the Y cables that split out right and left sides of SI. Also they have a Y cable that separates down imaging and 2D from SI. As I understand the OP's question, he wants a transducer on the transom and one on the TM both connected to the same unit at the same time or a switch to select one or the other. I don't think that's possible.

People are issued stupid patents all the time. Someone successfully patented a sealed crustless peanut butter a jelly sandwich. My mother was cutting the crust off the bread 30 years before the patent was issued. Your mother probably was too. You are not doing something wrong if you cut the crust off a peanut butter sandwich before eating it. The patent owner could sue you but they won't. My mother could easily challenge their patent but she won't. Zman has a right to prevent you from violating their patent. You have a right to challenge their patent. They will not spend the money required to take legal action against someone making their own lures in their garage. You will not spend the $100K+ to challenge their patent. It's a win win. That how our crazy legal system works. Zman does not have a patent on the lure. They have a patent on the way the blade is attached. If you think this is truly a new invention worthy of a patent then you should respect the patent. I don't think it would survive a challenge. I don't respect their patent.
