Just curious seeing all the different career choices people have made.

I work for a medical equipment supplier. We make and distribute devices to prevent DVT (Deep vein thrombosis).

Well, no degrees or fancy job titles here just the school of hard knocks.  Worked at a fishing resort in Florida as a guide and boat handler for awhile in the 60's. Did a stint in the Army (Vietnam).

I'm a Plant technician 3 for POET biorefining at a plant about 6 miles from my house. POET is the biggest ethanol and ethanol co products producer in the United States. I'm mainly involved in the production of products and cleaning of plant equipment(operations side)...I also do some maintenance and I'm the plants lead contact on water chemistry.

My magic doesn't come naturally. I'm a work in progress.

I operate a fermentation system that is used for the production of probiotics. Most of our bug get used in silage for cattle, pigs, horses and then pet stuff as well.

The industry is sure exploding.

Marketing manager

Professional pencil pusher, aka CPA.

Retired.  Before that I spent 37 years working for the Defense Logistics agency as an Inventory Manager and Account Manager in Subsistence before retiring in 2017.  If you were in the military during that time I probably had a hand in feeding you.

Helped run a family auto recycling yard, then I got the news of brain cancer about 5 years ago. So I'm mainly retired due to doctor orders. I fish a few times during the week and repair circuit boards/electronics.

Twice retired.  Retired from the Air Force in 1996.  Retired industrial equipment mobile service tech in 2011.  My specialty was electric equipment but repaired any and everything the customer wanted to pay $85 and hour for me to work on.

In the Air Force I was in an electronics carrier field and got my degree in electronics, but did it as a hobby before I joined.  Spent most of my carrier in classified, special duty assignments.  Even went through Ranger School and trained with the Special Forces some.

Before going into the AF, I was the maintenance superintendent at a large practical board plant.

Traveled all over the state repairing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for several years before that.

Note:  No where in that resume does it say Boat mechanic or Outboard Motor mechanic.  I have never worked as either of those.

Were you at Ft Lee, VA? I was in logistics in the Army from 2003-2010.

Retired for 12 years. Worked some odd jobs for a few years, then got into construction. Had my own biz for the last of over 25 years building stuff.
