One thing to keep in mind about social media is that the algorithms are designed to show you content that keeps you engaged. They are not designed to necessarily show you content that you like or that makes you feel good. A political post that makes you angry and you read it over and over as you get more angry, that's engagement. If you don't engage with the negative stuff it will stop feeding it to you. I log into Facebook about once a month. I used to see all of the negative political fury. I started blocking everything political wither I agreed with it or not. Now Facebooks only shows me updates from my friends and videos of cute puppies. 😃

I enjoyed the game. That Seattle defense was impressive and fun to watch. I personally think football at all levels needs more defense and less reliance on highly paid hot shot quarterbacks. I’ve found one thing to be true of both AI and fishing rods. You need to know what you want from them and adjust how you use them to achieve it.

I have both and they serve different purposes. I probably catch more fish with 360. I learn more with FFS. If I had to choose one it would be FFS.

I use a spring scale religiously. In the 90s I lost the smallmouth of a lifetime because my drag was locked down. I think about that fish every time I pull out the scale to set my drag.

Well my local lake is frozen over. Okay not the whole lake but the ramp nearest me is iced in. I have an IP65 15 amp. It has a 4 amp low power mode. I think the low power mode on the 10 amp IP65 is 3 amps. I would think that would be fine for your battery. I'm assuming it's a LifePO4 battery with a quality BMS that would protect the battery if you did something wrong.

If I'm thinking about equipment then I'm not focused on fishing. If it's not working as expected then it's taking my attention away from what I'm doing. I also don't want to be thinking about how good this new reel is. My expectations for my rod and reel are similar to what I expect from my fork when I'm eating.

If you know how much current your current set up is pulling and if you know what size your current wiring is, then you can calculate the voltage drop in the wires and how much new wire would help. I'm skeptical it would make a difference. I've seen no evidence that higher voltage equals better image quality across the board. That said, it can't hurt and might help in the future if not now.

I haven't gone down the GoPro road yet but have been thinking about it for a while. I noticed that the Hero13 Black Ultra has a maximum operating temperature of 104F where all of the other models have a 95F max. I often fish in 90F + temps so it's a concern.

My kit includes: Duct tape, a can of WD-40 and a pair of vice-grips. 😆
