I only have a couple of the carbonlite rods but they are great. There pretty light sensitive and really tough. I would have no problem having a full line up of them with currado’s. Sorry not really relevant.

There’s no doubt they work better. What I do now is stretch them out and tie a bunch of them to the back of the truck and drag them to the spot. Their perfect when I get there.

I have it on a 705 cb. I think it’s great on any moving bait rod for chucking and winding.

I’m gonna still get the expride. Already grabbed the chronarch. That other combo is basically getting a imxpro for the price of the bantam.

I have never used either of them. But that’s a great deal. Thinking about it myself.

That’s interesting, I’ll have to try it out. I was down to one break and just playing with the dial around three/four. That’s a good enough reason to get out play around.

Great reel, I only got to use it for a hour or so. When I was going through the manual I didn’t notice where to set the internal breaks at. When I was checking it out at the store the guy removed the side plates and all 4 breaks were on. He shut them all off while looking at it. Are they supposed to be all on, then use the dial. How do you guys have them set up.

I was thinking the 6’8” mh. To drag and hop jigs.

Got to try it out for a hour or so. I like it already.

I remember fishing quarries when I was 14/15. The fun I had then I will never forget. The gear I don’t remember at all. I only remember a Kmart ugly stick combo that I saved up for myself. And I didn’t have it then.

This is my second post about them. I want a expride/ chronarch mgl combo. I have it in my mind, that’s what I want. I want it for jig fishing next season. In your opinions is this a good thing. I have zero reasons for wanting this setup. But I do. Throw me a bone.

I’ve really only used the pop max and it was good.

I watched a tactical bassin video where he talked about this. I believe he set the hook first then applied steady pressure to lead the fish to more open water.
