I use em all the time. Always heard that craw fish make a tick noise as they are swimming. I've had alot of success using them. But its like everything else in bass fishing to each his own.

I think i remember a reference to them wanting to be like NASCAR with their superbowl at the beginning of the year too. But the big spawning fish was the main reason i heard for spring time classic's. I watched Chicago's classic from 2000 on bassmaster's website yesterday. It was messed up and guys were aggitated but they really had to work at it to get a limit. Was fun to watch.

if im shallow say 5' and under going down a bank ill shut it off. Otherwise its on all the time especially vertical fishing. But I also dont have side imagine and to me anything shown at that depth aint tellin me much anyway.

I remember in the classic last year I think it was Poche was using that senko with the spinner blade hanging out the back of it and he told the tv guys they couldnt show the folks anything about it until mid day sunday when they were all out on the final day.

My favorite question i get asked by some folks when walking down a tackle isle is........can i catch a bass on this? It makes my skin crawl to hear that question. I just start saying yes to everything and they eventually get ticked at me and quit asking lol. They all catch bass but if you cant find em you cant catch em but TV pushes baits so much that everybody forgets the other pieces to the puzzle.

He did a show last year where he was wading a river in his jeans fishing for smallmouth. I think it was actually a two part episode. was cool to see him outside of the ponds like everybody else has stated.

BPS Tournament Series Incredible Craw is my favorite on the back end of a jig. Green Pumpkin with Chartruse craws. I usually take the legs off and one of the craws when fishing it. Not saying it makes a difference but it has worked real well for me.

My favorite one was probably the Rapala one from a few years ago called the fishermans prayer. The KVD Bake sale is pretty good too

I have the FBB-3M-AFM from do it. It takes the flat eye. I found that 45 degree hook but didnt think it would fit into this mold since stock it requires the 60 degree hook. Maybe ill give them a shot and see what I gotta do or if I can modify it a little bit.

Anybody know where I can find a flat eye 60 degree EWG jig hook? I have been looking around and I have found plenty of EWG 60 degree hooks with the normal eye but none with a flat eye. Just figured I'd ask around here see if anybody knew a place I was missing to look lol Thanks

I have caught fish on it both ways but my favorite way as of late and worked awesome this weekend is drift fishing with it verticle. Caught a few small mouth with it this weekend was working good. All in how your comfortable.

I remember when it was held in summer time. I might be wrong but I thought it was after the lousy weights in Chicago and the Pittsburg classics they moved it to the south and to the beginning of the year hoping to get bigger fish on film and at the weigh in. And it seemed to work for the most part the first couple years they did it. No complaints here though. Id like to see it in summer time again but long as they keepin having it ill keep watching.

Make sure you dont have a threaded pedistal. Ive heard some guys fighting with theres forever to find out it was threaded and they ruined the threads by however they were pulling on it

Mine is right up against the back edge of the deck. You just gotta remember when you turn around that there is no deck there. I fell outta the boat one time because of this lol.

First bad review ive heard on the backstabbers. Alot of guys say they like em but I hadnt heard that about them around the weeds.

A few guys on another site were saying they have been having hardware issues with them. Mostly moisture getting into the electronics on the deck and not working. And if not hooked up right they will still drain a battery while shut off.

Family would be my great uncle that passed away last year. He was out crappie fishing and had a heart attack in the boat. Taught me so much over the years about Duck/Goose/Deer hunting as well as fishing. For people I dont know it would be hands down Hank Parker, Bill Dance or Al Lindner. I watched these three guys shows without fail all the time when I was younger and would jump at the chance to be able to go out and fish for a day with any of them.
