  1. The problem with the mustang is weight distribution 60/40. The power could be better utilized in a different car. Pretty impressive for a 5.4 L though. All that aside, I love the in car sound of the engine winding out!
  2. I looked for video credits...I could find no mention of her. She does resemble Pia Zadora though. She was probably a girl he picked up the night before the video shoot. He was at the height of his career during the production of this video and I am sure there was plenty of blond groupies for him to choose from. MTV music videos were cool. She is/was gorgeous.
  3. He is more of a "players coach"
  4. Check out the Nelson Racing Engines Code Red mustang video 1200 + HP twin turbo 5.4L http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/11/shelby-builds-1000-rwhp-twin-turbo-gt500-prototype-w-video/?icid=maing|main5|4|link6|24845
  5. You might be able to adjust that problem. I had the same issue in my procraft. Locate the gas level sensor on the top of the tank, turn the key on but do not start the motor. Rotate the sensor (loosen it up if necessary)clockwise or counter clockwise. Watch the gauge as you do this. I was able to re-calibrate the gauge. I hope helps. By the way, I never run my Merc 150 out of gas. It stays hooked up.
  6. A 13 foot Jon at Lox should do fine. In fact, you will be able to reach some of the shallower areas that the big glass boats can't get into. Regarding decks, trolling motor and battery, gas tank and a outboard, plus gear and passengers, keep in mind the weight of everything you are adding to the 13' boat. Try to keep the boat as lite weight as possible. If you want to build a deluxe fishing platform from a Jon, it might be better to look for a 16' hull with a wider beam.
  7. The Mavs made the plays to win at the end. Congrats to the MAV's and CAV's On to game #3
  8. Thanks for the information. Is it possible to add glitter to the clear coat if certain sections can be taped off? Then apply another coat of clear? The sparkles in some areas of my hull are already silver. The primary top coat color is metal flake gold, with metal flake magenta pin stripes, and non flake brown. Under the rub rail, the hull is gloss off white. I am just thinking about spraying the gold, magenta, and brown areas.
  9. Why all the venom for LeBron? You would think that the fans would root for him as a great player, not curse him. He changed teams, and he showboats. It is very common with today's athletes. He was not about making the most money, he wanted to win a championship.
  10. On south beach, you will not see eye candy as mother nature intended. It is all man made...if you know what I mean.
  11. Welcome to the forums. I am not familiar with South Carolina, but I would think that crank baits, and swim baits might be good for locating the bass. Areas that have drop offs from the current, or shallower areas off shore that have vegetation would be good places to try. Another thing you can try is T rigging senkos or trick worms. Fish them slowly in and around the weeds and drop offs. Fishing at dawn and dusk are usually the best times of the day. Good luck.
  12. The low angle ramps can be a problem too. On my rig I would have to back my truck tires up to the dang waters edge to drive the Ranger sled off of the trailer.
  13. Good luck Bruce!
  14. I have been to Cleveland. Not the healthiest place to live. No offense, but Miami is paradise compared to Cleveland. Who can blame LaBron? The city of Cleveland and it's fans just need to get over it.
  15. Congrats to you. I hope I will be able to do the same someday. Enjoy your retirement eyedabassman!
  16. I am in the same boat...so to speak. I have a 1987 Ranger 373. The top deck is beyond faded and gel coat is pitted and no longer smooth. It is usually not recommended to clear coat a hull, especially below the water line. The preferred choice is new gel coat, but that is very expensive for a boat that old. I have researched it, and if you use 1 part Imron, Interlux, or similiar brand clear coatmarine paint, you can expect a decent finish using the tip and roll method. Or you can spray it with proper respiratory protection. (Do not spray if you do not know hat you are doing. You can permanently damage your lungs). It will make it look better, but not new like new gel coat. It should last 5 years before peeling if you prepare the surfaces excellent. I am no expert, but this sums up what I have learned from the internet forums.
  17. We need some rain badly. It is going take a lot of rain to add 4' to the lake. Hopefully the ACE and the SFWMD will learn to not release so much water in the future.
  18. Man, I do not know who has been drinking to much koolaid...you or me! Looking forward to a very entertaining series. May the best team win and hopefully the refs will not be a factor!
  19. I researched the web to get some more insight to the match up from the pundits. It looks like it come down to the following: 1.Can Haslem endure increased playing time to cover Nowitzki? He neutralized him in 2006. I think he will need some help but he will do the job. Nowitzki will do well, but not dominate. 2.Can Chandler defend without fouling? Only the refs know for sure. 3.Will the Mav's bench be able to compete with the heats starting five who will play extended minutes? The Mav's bench will not be a good match up against James, Wade, and Bosh. 4.Can the Mav's handle the Heat's athleticism? Who will control the boards? Can the Mav's minimize their turnovers? 5. Will the Mav's be shooting lights out 3's in every game? They depend on the outside shooting to score. It can run hot and cold. 6.Will Wade continue to struggle or will he find his shot? I think it is unlikely that Wade will struggle. 7.Home advantage? It will help the Heat. No question. This series will be a classic IMHO. Both teams are deserving to wear the crown. This will be the Mav's best shot at winning the title, but I think the Heat finds a way and wins it in 7 games.
  20. You might want to be very careful at Lox with the 10' boat. There are some gators in there bigger than your boat. Some of them have no fear of man(especially close to the ramps) and will come up to your boat. You won't be able to go very far with an electric motor, so get there at first light and fish north and east of the ramps. Fish the hydrilla mats and sawgrass edges with swim baits and frogs. Hope this helps.
  21. A thermacell might be needed, otherwise you might want to drink plenty of OJ during the blood donations.
  22. You're always on the fish! Great job of catching and releasing that huge snook.
