  1. The window is closing! Some epic days can be had, it is all in the timing.
  2. The FWC is now referring them as "atomic sunfish". Go figure.
  3. Prime time up there! Things certainly are changing fast.
  4. Yep, somedays the hooksets just aren't there. Gets very frustrating!
  5. Pretty sure he is referring to the Florida Gators. ?
  6. I agree with October. When they are feeding you can have some killer days. Things do slow down as you head into November. I don't think the moon plays a big factor.
  7. They still have to eat! Summer is tough. Get out at sunrise. Slow moving baits will get the most bites. By 10 a.m. they will really shut down.
  8. Do you still have to pick up the gate key or are you launching from the Cohasset side? I always found it to be a tough place.
  9. Mike, I wouldn’t be sending anyone up to NP right now. The place is a mess with high water. ?
  10. Babcock Webb is the largest lake in the area. Lakes Park in Ft. Myers is another. Other than that you will be limited to canals and retention ponds. If it isn’t posted give it a go. This is not a good area for bass fishing. Quite disappointing. ?
  11. Summer bass fishing in FL is tough.....period! Sunrise until around 10 a.m. and then it is over. Slow moving baits will usually get the most bites.
  12. Yeah, check the warranty. I broke a rod tip on a Fenwick and they replaced the rod. All they wanted was a picture of the rod tip and the receipt. I kept the old rod and put a tip on. Good deal! ?
  13. Probably the best month! ?
  14. It is hot, it is humid and it is rainy season. Winter months are more enjoyable both weather wise and fishing. Yes you have to be concerned about gators. They can be found in any body of water. If you are bank fishing you have to constantly be observant. Ponds will be posted if you are not allowed to fish them.
  15. Not a lot of bank fishing options in that area. Get a kayak, it will open up a whole new world!
  16. I live in SWFL which is even tougher to find quality bass. Not exactly the bass capital. Small bass rule. I refer to it as trout fishing!
  17. Frezzy, if you want some solid info on both the Quabbin and Whitehall get on this site: http://www.newenglandfishing.net
  18. If only it were that easy. ?
  19. If you go to Billington you can also fish Little for trout. Get there early because they do charge to get in!
  20. gfisher I feel your pain! It is tough to get a good hookset in a kayak. I miss at least 50% of my fish when fishing t-rigged plastics. All part of the game!
  21. Missing the spawn is not a bad thing! ?
  22. Hey bostonsox, that team has been a surprise so far this season, huh?
  23. No, I did not see that. Where was it posted? Did he release it? The bass at IH can be anywhere. Hit the 2 coves in the spring.
