Deal Lake I was thinking about super flukes, paddletails and senkos.

Not any good on the Jersey coast

I was asked to go fishing on lake that I have never fished before. I know nothing about this lake....depth, structure,etc. Will be targeting bass, but there are other species also. My question is.... I can only take two setups, in your opinion what would be the two setups you would take.

I usually take it off and give a coat of U40.

I would try the new Hammer Braid.

I remove the split rings, I have been using Mustad Fastach

I started using Kastking Hammer Braid 50 and 65 test. Available in Green, Black, Chartreuse

I am in my first full week of retirment, doing the things that I put off, main thing is I can fish when I want to and don't have to worry about the weekend crowds.

I use the U40 on all my cork grips, key is to apply a vert thin coat.

I just use FB for a few fishing groups and marketplace to sell some stuff,

I am using 12# FC

I clean my cork with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, rinse,let dry. Then I apply a thin coat of U40. If the cork is really pitted you can fill with Elmers Golden Oak wood filler. There are videos on you tube on how to repair cork grips.

Every brand of rod that I have with cork handles get treated with U-40.

Only large mouth for me.

Once a year, after cleaning the cork with a Mr. Clean magic eraser.

I am using the KK Wide View Floating and Waterproof digital scale. You can get from Amazaon. Not a bad scale for the price.
