I use Cals drag grease and don't over grease.

Update Just removed the retainer and tapped on the reel, the bearing slide right out.

Doing a bearing upgrade on my Mega Jaws, my question is do you need to breakdown the reel to remove the bearing under the spool tension cap?

I do a routine cleaning after a few trips.

I started using ReelX oil and grease.

I am by no means an expert but for a budget friendly rod it is pretty decent sensitivity.

I have a few Perigee 2 rods and they are not bad for the price.
