I was gifted this lure this morning. He said it was a Heddon minnow....but I can't find any that resemble this shape? Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Mine didn't last that long...about 9 months on a slow year if I remember correctly. They are cheap disposable reels with some good Kastking-influenced marketing. Try one...you may get lucky like scaleface.
  3. Dang I went to eBay to pick one up and looks like I am looking at $25 (with shipping) on one of these guys.
  4. Yes, yes and yes.
  5. I don't know the answer, but I cleaned out my garage yesterday and have quite a few swimbaits (maybe 30 or so) that I have collected over the years that I will never use. I don't use swimbaits. If anyone wants to trade for some regular 'ol crankbaits ...shoot me a PM.
  6. great...now I have to find and add one of these to my collection. You wanna trade?
  7. Several of mine do have a centrifugal brakes on one side of the spool, but for round ABU's the tension knob is all you ever need to fiddle with.
  8. Yeah check part CO42 which is the plastic yoke. I don't think that BPS model has a shim there to prevent the yoke from slightly moving and then getting grinded up by the pinion gear teeth. We found that problem out quickly in our reels during proto testing and added a metal shim to prevent it.
  9. Looks to be a vintage Garcia rod....does it resemble any of these?
  10. All of them still work. Except the helicopter lure...that one never worked to begin with
  11. Ive actually been wanting to get into pistol grip rods for a while now....been looking for the one that QED posted above (he posted it a while back as well) in all the local antique stores but so far no luck. Talk about slick looking though ?

  13. Yes and that you only really need a handful of lures.
  14. Today I learned that holding a bass at a 45 degree angle can hurt him. I honestly have never heard of this before.
  15. Yes, you will see it start trickling in the stores late October/early November. Definitely take advantage on the great pricing on everything H20Xpress right now!!!
  16. Its because you will see H20X in its place soon.
  17. I can vouche for that. I live down here in in South East Tx and you guys up north haven't seen anything compared to what we are dealing with down here currently. -Immigrants are cast netting and keeping everything they can snag. -Where have they been castnetting?...just look for the pile of Modelo and Corona bottles. Conservation is taking a big hit down here right now, and no news media will cover it.
  18. We say all's and yall's down here in Texas.
  19. That thing looks sweet! Who did you purchase it through?
  20. Great..now I want a Rabble Rouser for my collection. ? Cue up the ebay!
  21. Think the bottom one is called a rabble rouser
  22. Go search Victim Bait and there is you answer. Bass will eat anything.
  23. Old green curado. Sold 1000's of them when I was in high school. Never could afford one personally. I was just gifted my very first one 20 years later by one of the guys who had a decision in killing them.
