I still have the same Plano 2 tray tackle box I have had since the 90's. Plastic as heck but nothing has broken on it.

We stopped watching sports in our household when it got too political. I can't stomach the cable hunting and fishing shows becouse they are so saturated with products plugs and heavily edited staged footage. I watch youtube hunting and fishing video's. Just bubba with a go pro out on the water or in the woods doing what bubba does.

I always feel like a jerk when I don't see the kayaker hiding behind the saltgrass and send a 4' tall wake his way as I go buzzing by. The first couple times I would kill it immediately and said sorry....but to them I bet its just looked like I wanted to watch them struggle to not flip over from my wake. At least thats what I believe that finger represents.

We just decided to take the very last remaining ornamental wrap we had left in the assortment (surf rod) off for the '23 lineup. No labor cost savings to be had....its just not really a thing anymore. Most custom rod builders still utilize it, and as soon as I see a someone with a ornamental wrap there a 90% chance it was a custom build. Which is neat. Let the custom guys have it. Gives them an advantage over the massed produced stuff

The problem I am running into is I have nowhere to discard it. My local garbage pickup will only allow for 1 full trash can which we usually fill. I have always used "bulk trash day" to throw this type of stuff away, but they stopped picking it up 2 weeks ago and left a note on my trash bags that said excess typical household trash was not considered "bulk" and will no longer be picked up at my residence. I don't have any community bins near me to utilize either. The bulk trash pick up was convenient and easy for me. I'm not going to stop picking up other peoples trash I just need to get over this little hurdle I ran into.

I have noticed where I fish that new fisherman (to the sport) usually do not understand the concept of "working a bank" or "drift fishing" and assume a person is fishing in a fixed spot unless they pull up anchor and move on. They figure a safe distance away from another person IS being polite. It does not get to me anymore because I understand that most don't realize they are being rude and are really nice when you meet them. (as you did). Just my 2cents

I always bring a trash bag or grocery bag and fill it up when I go fishing. Down here in southeast Texas......Ive probably picked up more Modelo and Corona cans than anything else over the years.

Those are the ones I don't fish with. All the ones I do fish with fit in a 3700

Rule #1 in fishing lure development..design it to catch the fisherman first. No doubt that things works though
