  1. I swung them around and they felt great. I imagine that the technique specific power/actions were built to Jordans personal preferences.
  2. Chicken On A Chain
  3. I like your modular fishing fanny pack
  4. I fished my neighborhood retention pond the first 2 years after I moved in with just lures. Catching what I expected to catch in a retention pond. Then one day I had a hankering to go to PETCO and get some goldfish to put under a cork in my retention pond and just relax. Life changing move there. I have now caught 4 PB's in 4 different species off of goldfish. Amazing what those little shallow ponds are hiding beneath them.
  5. Yeah man Im not sure what to think about that. I'm about to start adding fish to the trophy room and I told myself I was going to do skin mount only. I have seen a lot of fiberglass replica's that seem so generic and nothing like the photo's with regard to markings and fins. Its like you just give them the measurements and they grab the closest thing from a pile of pre-made's and say..."here's you fish". I'm sure its all in who you choose to go with, but I am leaning toward skin mounts. Just one man's sole opinion. Sorry didn't mean to get off topic.
  6. Hey looky there you even had her mounted...thats awesome man!!
  7. Its probably a multi modulas blank consisting of several different grades of pre-peg. I have a couple of my rods built that way.
  8. Put me in the paint scheme doesn't matter camp. Whatever's painted on the back of the frog is to catch the fisherman. Pretty sure I even have one lying around somewhere that say's "eat me" painted on the back.
  9. I'm curious on this comment? Rod related or company related?
  10. Who's creating the kit? Hard to tell from the picture
  11. I noticed the soft plastic powerbaits can sometimes for unknown reasons smell... "not so fresh". Their powerbait dough bait never does though.
  12. Yes I really like them. Stetson Blaylock used them in the Bass Masters Classic on Ray Roberts this year. They are ahead of their time in my humble opinion.
  13. I would definitely skip the bass and hit the salt. And if you want some stares while fishing use a baitcast reel.
  14. I used to only fry bass and other fish with the basic corn meal until I started traveling to China/Asia annually. That opened my mind up to so so many much more ways to prepare fish. Like the original posters recipe among many more. My favorite is called squirrel fish dish which basically consist of fried fish and ketchup but in a unique way.
  15. Well our acquisition was definitely the exception to that then ?
  16. Unfortunately you didn't stumble on any hidden industry secret. Same material but the construction is different. Unless your going to use it on cane poles I wouldn't waste the time.
  17. It is very interesting to see them make the first splash into the fishing industry. They are like the Pure Fishing of the hunting world.
  18. Some original Wiggle Warts off ebay? Are you going to let us know who the winner is?
  19. I have resorted back to this as well. I now have 1 little Plano sidekick tackle box that I fill per trip. When I get home I empty it, and refill again next trip. Each time tailoring to that specific trip. Kinda along the same line...keeping things super simple and having fun.
  20. I am pretty sure it works as it does resemble a tadpole. Especially in private stock ponds : ) But personally I have caught more fish on the helicopter lure than my dancing eel back in the day.
  21. I love ABU and am becoming a bigger fan every day. I actually just watched a complete documentary on the company last night. Having said that....I am only a fan of their Swedish made round reels, abumatics and cardinals. I don't touch their low pro's.
  22. As a spinning reel developer I can honestly say this has never even been talked about during the development process...but maybe it should be.
  23. I'm in again this year!
  24. I found one locally that was kinda interesting/funny but got a permanent warning and points deducted last time I posted it on the forum. There's some interesting stuff out there if you into that stuff like me!
