  1. Beautiful picture, but kinda hard not to imagine that your actually sitting on a giraffe in that picture ?
  2. There is always 2-3 that show up at Icast but it just never seems to take off. While I still think its going to be something big in the future and most every fishermen will have 1 in the tackle box...we are still a ways away from that. They are just to goofy/wonky looking right now. Its coming though.
  3. Fully agree Mike...its always been there, just it wasn't a big deal. But now its important enough to where we have to print the IPT directly onto the reel itself.
  4. This sure became a thing all of a sudden.
  5. Good eye...same company.
  6. Its all trickling back in. Won't be bad
  7. I'll just grab whichever 3" or 4" grub is available. They all work. (I'll walk to the zoom section first though).
  8. Im sure that I have several of those as well that I purchased at Academy. If I can recall correctly these were a one time promotional bait and are not the same as originals. Packaging was different as well. It was more than just spots that were part of the promotion. I got 3-4 different styles.
  9. You must embrace them...your only postponing the inevitable ?
  10. Carrot Stix had some great potential, just couldn't keep that momentum going. I always give them majority trend credit into the acceptance of all brightly colored rods we have now.
  11. I have had 2 of these scales and have not had that issue. This past weekend it weighed all my crappie under 1lb just fine. Sometimes I have to remove the fish and place back on the scale after clearing it back to zero to get it to read correctly. Overall I love this scale.
  12. They could have changed suppliers and/or just don't have strict quality control standards in place? Do you think the change will effect the performance of that bait color now?
  13. I collect only hardbaits since everything I don't use can just be hung up on the wall. I gave away 100% of all my unused collected soft plastics to some local kids that fish the neighborhood ponds.
  14. Glass/composite has come a long way since 2002. St Croix is definitely leading that charge.
  15. For me it the DOA Terror Eyez bait. I have put so many hours on this bait just to catch ONE fish and for a picture to send to my friend in Florida. Even bought a specific Texas Flag hat to wear just for the picture. Started this endeavor 2 years ago and still ...nothing.
  16. Going to have to purchase on of these now and give it a shot!
  17. Its works just don't tell the bass it came in a saltwater package. I also use plastics shrimp lures for bass. Days where I have slaughtered em on it.
  18. I get by with 2. *Medium *Heavy There isn't anything I can't fish and catch with these 2 rods.
  19. Sorry but I do not believe you have stumbled across a hidden gem with these reels.
  20. A wake bait model squarebill
  21. Anything shad/silver
  22. Thats my go-to bait in my neighborhood lake! Goldfish from Petco. They work all the time, everytime.
  23. I agree with what someone else mentioned above. A bass generally won't be able to decipher the lure pattern while its running past them. The profile is what matters. But just having 1 silver colored minnow just isn't as fun as having 8 different silver shad patterns in your tacklebox.
