Megabass Dark Sleeper
Eyes always come off on my sleepers - the cheap ones for $3 and real ones for $7. Doesn't make a difference to me it seems. My best lure is an Spro Aruku Shad with 1 eye - I think I have caught over 200 fish on it.

New Hula Popper 2.0
Already went through feather treble on back from bluegill nips and etc. Awaiting replacement feather treble hooks. I will say the popper moves a ton of water though, still a great bait.

Have You Heard Of The : "Free Rig" ?
Interesting rig - I don't see the purpose of this over a worm weight but I now have a use for all those bell sinkers I have laying around

Any guys 3D printing fishing stuff ?
For all the technology I use, this is the one thing I have never had interest in. The sad part? These are readily available for me at work (free for anyone actually) including the spools but never had a need for them. I don't use a ton of hard baits and I am skeptical about how the hooks stay on the bait as I don't think screw eyes will hold up. Anything you want to share? Not looking for diagrams, but more of what types of baits you use 3d printing for.

ICAST 2019 New Products/Rumors/Wishlist
It could be me, but I just flipped through all the 179 photos and there wasn't a single thing I would buy that isn't just another version of something I have for more money. Come on doohickeys!

Ashamed to say...
I finally did this 3 year ago - and now i know why pork (even though its in demand) is such a pain in the butt. But never caught anything on (it's on my list to do) Johnson Silver Minnow and Pork Eel Trailer. Think I have seen multiple magazine covers back in the day with this as the lure that the bass are leaping out of the water with (Fishing Facts come to mind).

ICAST 2019 New Products/Rumors/Wishlist
I am going to say that Minn Kota will eventually figure out how to put their side finding transducers built in to their trolling motors since they own Humminbird - which would be nice as the transducer cable running down the shaft is mighty unsightly. Personal wish list - inline undewater camera that don't leak or suck, castable depth finder that actually works and not loses signal all the time and here is my biggest wish - for rod manufactures to list the weight of their rods in ounces.

OFF bug spray.
Repel 100 Now it works, don't get me wrong, but it is 98% deet. There is nothing on the market that beats deet - but the chance you need 98% deet is pretty out there. If you leave it on your hands - expect it to melt plastic, reel handles, etc. I just use Off Smooth & Dry (my god, DO NOT breathe this in) and thermacell as I am not in the deep woods.

Best Florocarbon line period for bass fishing regardless of price?

The latest and best "Frog" type bait on the market!
I present to you, the greatest and latest "Frog" type lure that I have found. Tired of fishing frogs with just double hooks in it? No issues here, TREBLE hook! Soft rubber body Weedless action. Self draining hole for that pesky water build up. Comes with short wire leader (built in) for those pesky toothy critter bites. Makes all your fishing buddies jealous of your grace and style as fish just hit this thing left and right! Behold, in all its grace:

t-rig "eye"
An eye? Never heard anyone call it that before but I use them all the time - they are just glass beads that come in multiple sizes/colors. They provide some sound when you peg a t-rig with a rubber stop about .5-1" inch away from the weight. I use them strictly for sound - don't know if they protect the knot. I fish a lot of places with snotweed and sometimes it makes the transition from sinker to bait "smoother" so the bait nose doesn't pick that junk up as much. The wrong size bead has the opposite effect too.

Have any of you used a white Senko?
In a natural lake I fish, the white swimming senko or the normal one seem to work well, but attract the pike more than any other color. I see no issues with it. I wouldn't get too caught up in colors but confidence in the bait itself, my best color for the retention pond in the back yard is actually Bubble Gum Yellow Swirl.

Mann's The Ghost & Best Plastic Frog?
I switched over to the Z Man baits for solid body frogs. Gambler cane toads and the yum versions are nice but they rip easily. Never tried the hard nosed Mann baits but I tend to stay away from paddle type legs as I have gotten a few that just don't swim right, it is like a leg is too hard. The only problem on the Z-Man stuff is the weight. Keitech noisy frogs I like too as the legs don't get ripped off and they swim with the slightest retrieve.

Best place to catch a monster
Original link here: Lunker Lore I have no idea where or how they got these numbers, its something I ran across awhile ago and though it was a good know im never going to catch a 10lb+ bass without winning the lottery first.

Using cover scent
I feel this is my case with I use megastrike. I also remember someone saying this: " you may not have faith in the scents attracting fish and that's OK, but think of scents masking YOUR scent on the bait itself" This is how I feel about scents, not as an attractant but a scent coverup for my scent.

Rage tail baits
My go to rage bait - Rage shad with 3/0 hook weightless. There is something about the way it swim, spits water and vibrates that I love. Short strikes not my favorite as the tail can ripped off easily. Strike King Rage Twin Tail Menace Grub - seems to be gaining popularity as a trailer but I use it with t-rig and it does just fine as a compact presentation. For some reason the carp love this thing.

I made an impulse buy
I just bought something cause it reminded me of a movie - Jaws. KastKing Sharky Baitfeeder III Spinning Reel I can't for the life of me see me using this for the fishing I normally do, but the clicky sound (like in the movie) was calling me.

Marine Carpet for Side Bunks
I remember when I did another trailer, I just wound up doubling up on the carpet to add padding.

Your Most Lazy , Relaxed , Do Nothing Bass Lure Technique ?
My laziness is a hook and a 3/4" chunk of cheese hotdog, no weight needed. Also: What I call the 1 handed retrieve - cast out with one hand and use that same hand to retrieve the lure in by palming a baitcaster and using your middle finger to spin the star drag instead of handle.
