black outkast tackle feider fly no trailer - 3/32 or 1/8 depending on water depth
  2. are these out of production/discontinued? one of my favorite flipping baits and i can’t find them regularly in stock anywhere. TW only has a select few colors in stock at a discounted price
  3. i have 6 of them (3 different colors of 3/8 and 1/2oz) and have fished them quite a bit. i literally cannot get anything to bite them
  4. wacky/neko senko texas rig sweet beaver chatterbait/swim jig depending on conditions
  5. i almost exclusively use zman razor shads on all my chatterbaits. i'll occasionally downsize to a creature bait or craw style trailer but very seldom
  6. jerkbait, ned rig, jig
  7. i personally don't, it's probably a waste of braid but i don't feel the need to change it off the spool for 2-3 seasons. i regularly put new leaders on if need be.
  8. that was exciting right there at the end, i was rooting for bobby to come through with the win. two ounces short what a heart breaker!
  9. What are you guys using? Looking for the most snag resistant as possible
  10. swim jig, chatterbait, and a jackal gantarel jr. are my go-to bluegill "imitators"
  11. 15# high visibility braid with a 10-12 ft. leader of 8# or 10#. flouro
  12. i can vouch for these guys too. great prices and if you don't mind the small wait to get them it's worth it
  13. hoping to get a nice kicker with one of these during this sunday’s tournament
  14. as larry the enticer would say.. "sometimes you just gotta send it!"
  15. i use 8-10lb leader on my spinning setups really depending on water clarity and cover. most of the lakes up my way are super clear water so the lighter the better
  16. squantz pond, highland lake
  17. i placed a TW order yesterday - paid a few extra bucks for 2 day shipping because i have a tournament on sunday. order has been shipped and will be arriving tomorrow. i also am completely across the whole country in connecticut. kudos to them for getting it out!
  18. i'm going to have to go with berkley. great quality hard baits, great quality terminal tackle, great quality soft plastics with the emergence of maxscent, they win it for me. now if only they came out with a jig line
  19. my DS setup is a daiwa tatula elite 7' ML paired with a pfleuger supreme 2500. i run 15lb hi-vis yellow power pro braid with either a 6, 8, or 10 pound floro leader depending on the water clarity/cover i'm fishing.
  20. it's not always a death sentence, but there are definitely better spots for the fish to be hooked. it happens, just like gut hooking happens all the time
  21. berkley power swimmer 3.8 and the biospawn exoswim 4" work great for all 3 presentations
  22. unfortunately you have zero control of where the trebles hook the fish. i'd be more ecstatic about the catch and less worried about where the fish was hooked if i were you lol
  23. congrats on your first tournament and catching a few keepers. it ain't always that glorious!
