Daiwa spinning reels for Ned rig.
the pflueger supreme is a fantastic reel right at the $100 price point. i have 2500 and 3000 sizes that are absolute work horses. i can't vouch for the legalis of or the fuego, though i have heard good things about both.

Anyone have experience with the Rage line? Specifically spinning. I'd like some input as I can grab a mint 6'10 medium for pretty cheap on the marketplace Thanks!

okay- neko rig question
i've seen multiple video's/pictures of the neko rig with the hooks entering opposite ways. some videos the hook point goes into the bait and out towards the tail, and others the hook point goes into the bait and out towards the nose and nail weight. WHICH IS THE CORRECT WAY TO RIG? driving me nuts lol. i've fished it both ways and haven't seen a significant difference in hookup ratio, granted i haven't fished it a TON.- Numbers Bait
texas rig/wacky rig senko, ned rig, tube, drop shot. they will catch numbers and they will also catch bigguns. i try to fill my limit quick in tournaments and upgrade from there. knowing i have 5 fish in the livewell is my main goal.- Hello

You can surely get away with it if need be. 7' medium casting rod and spool your reel up with 8-10 lb. fluoro and co-poly and you're golden!- 1 month review - Daiwa Tatula Elite Casting Rod
While on vacation fishing down in Tennessee, I had my all purpose MH rod snap in half. I almost wasn't mad because it gave me a reason to buy a new rod, which we all know is one of our favorite things to do! Went to my go-to tackle shop which happens to be in my home town (shoutout to tackle supply depot). I opted for the Daiwa Tatula Elite 7'3 Medium Heavy Ehrler model. x45 graphite blank, fuji alconite guides and fuji reel seat, EVA foam grips. I chose this model because it would basically act as my workhorse rod that I can throw the kitchen sink at. So fast forward about one month later to today after tournament fishing and weekend fishing, I absolutely LOVE this rod. Super light and sensitive beyond belief whether I'm throwing a 1/2oz jig or a senko, but has plenty of strength and backbone to rip fish out of weeds and structure right into the boat. Super reactive when throwing chatterbaits, lipless crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. I feel like Daiwa get's a TON of attention for their reels deservedly so, and not as much attention on their rods. They hit it out of the park with the Tatula elite. Definitely going to find some excuses to upgrade a few of the rods in my arsenal to these. - ICAST 2019 New Products/Rumors/Wishlist
