  3. G MAN WITH THE CLUTCH 2 POUNDER WITH 6 MIN TO GO!
  4. this should be interesting ?
  5. sometimes they just don't bite for ya! he caught a pretty big fish towards the end of the day though
  6. the thing i love most about this format so far is you are NEVER out of it.

    Welcome to BR!
  8. interesting, i did not know that
  9. cheaters in every sport! hopefully everyone puts together a fair string of tournaments. i wasn't a fan of major league fishing AT ALL, and after watching today's broadcast, i'm definitely reconsidering my thoughts on it
  10. it's about integrity of the sport. but i guess you're right and i'm wrong
  11. how on earth could you say not worry about it? it's literally so easy to bypass the rule in a LOT of different ways.
  12. exactly. that's my only gripe so far. there's no possible way they can enforce this rule 100%, which in my opinion sucks. you will 100% see someone tomorrow throwing a jerkbait all day lol
  13. now, i understand the anglers who are fishing tomorrow cannot watch. What is stopping anyone who isn't fishing, who knows an angler, from watching and giving them information?
  14. on a jerkbait!
  15. ish monroe just set the hook so hard on a little dink which ultimately resulted in that fish being smashed into the side of his boat. NO PENALTY FLAG! ?
  16. i've been watching on and off. the newer format is interesting, but i still prefer the standard 5 bass limit format. interested to see how this tournament turns out.
  17. perfect, i have a FR 663C
  18. sounds good, i keep that in mind!
  19. i can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not lol
  20. last year during the first tournament in april I caught my limit with a bunch of cull's on a fairly large flat with submerged vegetation in about 11ft. of water. Every single fish was caught on a 3/8oz. chatterbait. my boater had a similar day to mine with swim jigs and chatterbaits.
  21. all of my spinning reels have 15# yellow power pro braid with a fluoro leader. I'll never go back to straight fluoro unless i'm throwing a spybait and need straight 6# test
  22. So tough to break it down to just 3 setups, but below would be my 3 top picks. 6'6"-7' medium fast action spinning rod for weightless plastics, dropshots, shakeyhead, tubes, etc. 2500-3000 size spinning reel 8-10lb. test fluorocarbon OR 15lb. braid with a 8-10lb test flourocarbon leader around 10ft in length 7' medium or medium heavy fast action casting rod for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swimbaits, lighter texas rigs 6.3.1 bait casting reel 12-15lb. test fluorocarbon 7' heavy fast action casting rod for heavier jigs, texas rigs, frogs, flipping and pitching 7.3.1 bait casting reel 65lb. braid and 15-20lb. test fluorocarbon depending on what kind of cover you're fishing
  23. I have both largies and smallies around me. I guess the possibilities are endless!
  24. True, I'm just used to throwing a 1/16oz-ish nail weight in. Interesting as I haven't really looked at it as a deeper bait. Thanks!
  25. I do fish the neko rig, but much shallower than I would a dropshot. I'm talking 20-30 feet of water
