I've got a fancy kinetic watch around here somewhere that I haven't worn in years. Wrestling cows, working on tractors, and pulling with barbwire destroys everything, especially watches. My fishing watch below, $3600.

I'm 49 and prefer to bass fish alone and that allows me to make immediate changes in location or presentation. At times I'll go from throwing a 10" Glidebait to dead sticking a TRD from one cast to the next. Also many of my trips are unplanned, spur of the moment deals. I do catfish with a friend and take my sister and a couple friends catfishing several times a year. I'm in a more relaxed state of mind while dragging chicken compared to my hyper focused tunnel vision while bass fishing. Plus, I sing using my outside voice while hunting bass. Rock, Pop, Country, Gospel, the Blues,etc., I don't even know what's coming, it just happens.

It depends on it's intended purpose. I've never shot a Mini 14 accurate enough to deserve a magnified scope.

Really enjoy Fall bassing, but the prespawn and shad spawn is the best.

I would've tried a Spybait, 3" Bass Assassin Baby Shad Pearl on a 2/0 EWG Gamakatsu, or a 3/8 oz Cotton Cordell spoon reeled and pumped below the baitfish. These baits have worked many times for me on schoolers.

My PB was caught on a Revo SX with Red Label. I've since upgraded to mostly Shimano reels, so using Tatsu would be a completely unfair advantage. 😆

Big fish always feed on big baitfish given the opportunity. So if you have big fish, throw them.

On the water, I never count, just take a pic of every fish. On days when you catch 30, 40, 50 or more, then add in a good mixture of Hybrids and Stripers, noway I'd ever be accurate on my count. I only get a count, once the boat is loaded on the trailer. Folks look at me like I'm crazy when they ask "how many did you catch?" and I reply "no idea".

I like and eat all vegetables as often as possible. Grilled Egg plant is one of my favorites. Boiled Okra is bottom tier.

Pretty sure the Bluegill are feeding on the bass.😁 I might be able to catch magnum Gils on a baby bass Super Fluke.

Hit the Nursery again yesterday evening for some BFS play. Caught 9 bass and a bonus bream. The wind was dead calm so a Z - Man Micro TRD in GP/1/32 bullet weight/Gamakatsu #2 EWG did most of the work. It amazing what the Aldebaran BFS/Dobyns will throw.

Just over 3K so far, if we're talking gas, rods, reels, line, lures, etc. But I'll break even as I didn't join my 2 deer hunting leases at 2K and haven't bought any news guns. So really I've saved money.😁

Visited a buds pond in a light drizzle and 25 mph gust today that I call " The Nursery ". Took my new Aldebaran BFS/Dobyns combos and caught 18 micro - bass and 2 bream.

Caught five today, top three, big girl is 5.51.

I enjoy breaking down, cleaning, lubing, and assembling reels. But, they're fairly simple compared to jet engines, IMHO. It's not very difficult, if you want to do it and have the time.

Nice. I'm going in the morning at 530am - 1 or 3pm, haven't been in my boat since the 19th of July. Wind is forcast to be 10 - 15, which translates 15 - 25mph. I'am excited as a fat kid on the way to Krispy Kreme for donuts, to fish my two new BFS rigs and just be on my boat.
