  1. "Daybreak thru noon is lackluster." I'd try any other time until me and hungry girls crossed paths.
  2. I'm thinking of boats, but I've got a 1436 jon, 9.9 Mercury, Terrova 55, Garmin, and everything just waiting on me to put it together. All new, been sitting for years. I've installed the aluminum floor and seat doublers. That Rockfish, I can't imagine a 14' aluminum that can run a 250hp.
  3. Our King has spoken. Get off your knees, so you can bow.😁 Thanks Glenn. I'm so happy Fall is creeping in here.
  4. Woman you have a little piece of heaven. Blessed you are.
  5. I've caught Channels on big wakebaits, shakey heads, swimbaits, poppers, jerkbaits, jigging spoons, Neds, Spinnerbaits, Spybaits, most likely every type of lure I own. At times they feed just like bass.
  6. Increase your fishing by 2 or 3 times. The best equipment and skills won't overcome the time you must invest to cross paths with big girls.
  7. Hit a buddies pond in the rain this evening for a 1/2 hour. Caught 2 on the frog and 3 Fluke. I think that they're bass, just very tiny bass.😄
  8. Finally trying some BFS. Shimano Aldebaran BFS XG on a Dobyns Sierra Ultra Finesse 740 and a Aldebaran BFS HG on a Dobyns Ultra Finesse 691. Spooling with Daiwa Samurai Hidden FC 8lb.
  9. I forgot my favorite pic of my little Beasty, getting ready to bust up her shadow.
  10. You any good with a cast net?😁 They are likely feeding on bait much smaller than the lures you're throwing. But here's some baits. - 3/8 Cotton Cordell jigging spoon retrieved quickly and even skipping along the surface - Damiki Slim Jack or any shallow Jerkbait - Rapala floating minnow or a small Wakebait - 1/4 lipless - Super Fluke & the Jr. many times just allowing it to sink amongst the school will work - small popper or walking bait - Spybait
  11. Really depends on what your gear can handle and your baitfish, they all catch fish. I fish the Slow Sink 5, 6, 7, 8, 9", Floating 5 & 6" , Wake Bull, and the Bull Herring which shouldn't be overlooked for Herring lakes.
  12. Just PM your current address. 😂
  13. My lovely wife's 6.1 lber, that I was able to guide her to, long before we had gray hair.
  14. Stay away from Ga., it's full of Dawgs.😁
  15. A good story is a good story, whether it's true or not.😃
  16. Been working on learning the language of Micropterus salmoides for over four decades. Just when I somewhat feel like I'm getting close, in comes Micropterus punctulatus across the river and I'm behind the curve again.😄 Sorry brother, I'm no help.
  17. Jack goes under the axle, not the trailer tubing.
  18. You ain't gonna catch nothing on that thing.🤣
  19. 4 lb line and under with a rod and reel rated for that line is UL, IMHO.
  20. Shoot to stay proficient, weight train, and teach 84 year olds the art of shooting steel at 500 yards with a 22lr. I used to bowfish alot, shoot long range comps, and hunt EVERYTHING legal in Ga.
