Rod/reel submerged
Good luck, with a good clean/lube it'll be fine.

Very nice. I prefer having my fun in the dark.

Short trips?
I've caught alot of big fish on short trips with a pack of Super Flukes and BPS Stickos stuffed in my pocket, on a med - heavy BCer. You can fish them fast or fish them slow and I've never come across a small body of water those two baits won't catch bass.

Wednesday's skunk.
Let that shoulder heal up and you'll be getting us more pics soon. Might want to try a pack of the Gamakatsu Nano hooks, apparently you can think about setting the hook and you'll have them pinned.

Dumpster diving for bass
He was baiting you scaleface. Those worms have been riding around in his boat for months.😁 When I hear dock talk of a bass 5 or more lbs, my question is what brand scale do you have.

Jerkbaits other than megabass
Mostly the shallow & deep standard JB. I do have a handful shad's that I've weighted to super slow sink that have given me a few great days.

Finesse Techniques as a Co-Angler in WI Grass Lakes
Took a Crappie fishing buddy of mine bass fishing a couple Springs ago on a grassy lake. I tied him a T - Rigged TRD on a 2/0 EWG and 1/16 oz tungsten bullet weight on his medium spinning rod. As we're easy along I look back and he's just trolling it, facing straight out the back of the boat. I threw big swimbaits, chatterbaits, Flukes, etc. and he caught three times the fish I caught that day and the big fish. Opened my eyes to power of the T - Rigged TRD, which why alot of my pictured fish have one hanging out of it's mouth.

Sharpie your line?
Never Shapied my braid. I just fish for the old fat girls with cataracts.

Went out for a chicken sandwich…
Marina/Bait shop Monkey's are twice as aggressive as a standard bait Monkey. Could've been worse.😆

$1,100 Swimbait!?!
No. I want nothing to do with a 22oz bait.

Has anyone used the Toadface for swimbaits or glidebaits?
The 5" Bullshad is 1.35oz and the Toad face top weight is 1 & 1/8 so it should be fine. IMO the 6" is 2oz and would overload the TF.

Hairline lead wire. Quick and easy to adjust on the fly.

When you think about fishing all the time…
It's not my fault. Everyone I know always ask me, how's the fishing been, so out comes the phone for the picture show.
- Posting a photo from my phone or tablet?

Seriously
My wonderful wife handles all our finances, so there's zero chance of sneaking purchases past her and I never would. She budgets for me to make 2 or 3 bigger gear orders a year. When I say I'm riding by the BPS, she understands that I'm picking up a few things. That has always worked fine for us. She fully supports my fishing and understands that I likely won't be around long when I can't fish anymore.

Sad Day's
My condolences. Those days are indeed sad and tough.

Just curious
Bank 1 - 3 hours. Summer nights 6 - 8 hours. Spring, Fall, & Winter I'm more comfortable and usually fish 6 - 12 hours. At 49 with a 100 year old jacked up back, my frequency is regulated by my pain.

Local pond night monster on my radar.
Go get us a close up pic of that pond moster.

Excellent. Marben is a neat place and one of the ponds produced an 18.1 in 87.
